That was a highlight TD.
That play was actually #2 on Sportscenter's Top Ten last night!
To chime in on Mett's overthrow's on the deep ball. I think he's just telling himself if my guy can't get it nobody will. He's not gonna take a chance and throw it up where the DB can maybe make a play. Also, we don't have that big reciever to go up and fight for the ball so that might have something to do with it too. He could of had 3 or 4 big plays last night if those balls are just slightly more accurate.

The freshman for the other team threw more accurate deep balls than Mett with the same wind condition. Good QB's account for the wind. There is a lot of room for improvement for Mett and that's putting it nicely.
Incorrect, but dig harder.

This. I swear people make shite up just to have something to complaing about.
Ha. I hear you. Manziel threw one nice back shoulder throw relatively deep. Nothing else deep that I can remember.
Mett had a poor throwing day overall yesterday. This was his worst outing, I think, in terms of accuracy. But he did throw a couple of nice long ones (the TD, the one to Beckham, and the drop to Landry). And a couple of nice first down throws. And he didn't turn the ball over. He'll be ok, i think.
One thing that had me baffled was the routes that were called. Their safeties were walked up to 6-8 yds deep often. I can't believe we weren't running to the post. Maybe that could have helped Mett. I do remember him missing one post to Beckham, but I don't remember many more. In general those throws are a bit easier to make.
