I’m guessing LSU will keep both USC and UCLA on the ‘24 schedule

Since an 8 conference game schedule is in the works for the ‘24 season. I was wondering I if they would keep both games on the schedule if the SEC moved to a 9 game conference schedule.

No one can claim LSU has a weak schedule in 2024.

Basically true any year, and it’s one of the many great things about being a Tiger. Our team, unlike some others, nuts up and schedules a tough road year in and year out. The insane schedule has always been one of the most impressive feats about 2011 and even more so 2019. We played, and beat, the best of the best. Handily in most cases.

I’d be pissed if the Vegas game were to get cancelled. That’s gonna be helluva trip with ton of LSU fans in town.

It has been longer than that, my friend! We last played them in 1984 at the Los Angeles Coliseum (a 23-3 victory for LSU). But that game was nowhere near as memorable as the 17-12 defeat we suffered in 1979 at Tiger Stadium. I was living out of state then but managed to get a scratchy broadcast on radio from WWL. What a game!

I WILL be in Vegas for the 2024 opener - as will about 50,000 other LSU fans!!! Hope you are in that number too!

I would not say every year but yes we do not shy away from playing top competition out of conference. 2024 would be comparable to 2011. 2019 was a good schedule but 2024 would be tougher with 10 power 5 opponents vs 9 in the regular 12 game schedule.

Could they try to get out of the game because they joined the Big 10?

UCLA had 9 games scheduled against PAC10 opponents, it shouldn’t make a difference. If they back out, that shows they’re scared.

I hate when home and homes take year gaps like this. We should have gotten the second UCLA game in 2022.

That would be awesome. Idk why y’all act like it wouldn’t be cool to play all big name teams.

Screw this freebie mentality.
