I totally agree. He has such a high ceiling. He struggled early against SEC pitching, but came around as the season went on. He will have another off-season to improve behind the plate and cut down on the passed ball rate and he is going to be great for LSU. Will miss Luis, like the OP said, but the future is bright!

The passed balls stopped about 3/4 of the way through the season. Arrambide looked to be getting much better behind the plate late in the year.

That dude was a work horse behind the plate all season. A team player who did what was asked of him. Great guy!

We are in excellent shape at the Catcher position. Luis was excellent this year and performed better behind the plate than expected. But we are in very good shape next year and will likely have Arrambide as a top 3 round pick when he is done. I look forward to his progression and development next year. Curious to see what happens with Josh Jordan.

I’m interested to see if Eddie Yamin is back next year. I read something here about an injury holding him back this year.
