Getting rid of student section will 100% backfire just like banning the song has.
It will piss off most of the alumni and fans who will find a way to protest it. It will get Alleva fired no doubt.

not to mention I would be willing to bet students would transfer and many future students would opt out from coming here. With all the current BS with greek life getting cucked and tailgates getting shutdown this would be the nail in the coffin and you'd slowly watch LSU turn into a shitty low tier SEC school. Without all that out of state money it's gonna hurt alot

In this day and age its surprising but most everything about neck in has been pretty positive. Most understand its s college football game and if done at the right time it's fun. If they start doing it all the time then something will be done. If we are up 14 against bama with a min left, then I want to hear that shite.

I don't think it's going to happen, but he could use the visitors sections, or just put the students in the upper deck with no real obstacles.

One of the issues LSU must keep in mind is that in 20 or 25 years from now those students are going to be the 40+ crowd with thick wallets paying the freight. You don't alienate your future donors.

I disagree. Most games are followed by people complaining the stadium was empty after the half.
Point me to the game last year or this year that was more impressive, then we can start talking about averages.
