Our defense is playing lights out and can shut down Newton and Auburn's offense. Even though Les is giving JJ the start I believe JL will take a majority of the snaps and will have a solid game like he did against em in '08.

3 and out, AU scores
3 and out, AU scores
down 14 JL comes in and throws a pick six playing catch-up, now 21 to 0.
After the game Les justifies pick sixes as to reason why JJ start. Forget LSU just lost, Miles proves his reasoning.

Newsflash. The LSU defense has only allowed two touchdowns the entire year in the 1st quarter. One to Tennessee and one to McNeese.

it's only wednesday and i can barely contain myself. Dem boys gonna be flying to the ball

I also predict that JJ will have a good day with whatever time he has on the field.

Did Miles announce the starter for AU? I thought he didn't.

We will see a fired up defense....and so will Auburn. LSU wins this game and makes a statement. :jump1: :jump2:

I believe we'll show up for this game. I have faith in JL. JJ's won here before. Ridley is a Chocolate train of pain. Auburn can be one-dimensional with the right pressure. Our defense is scary good. Miles is showing improvement in time management. This is the first time we have started 7-0 since 73.

Lots of positives.

Hopefully the refs won't make us squeal like a pig.

Both on short fields after JJ turnovers. See, not only is he able to shut down our offense, he is able to effect our defensive stats as well. Must be what Les keeps talking about when he says he is looking for a complete performance starting him.

I wish that I could say that I share your feelings of confidence. I've got a bad feeling about this game, especially when I watch reviews of the McNeese game. I hope that we were just having an off night, but even our defense looked vulnerable against McNeese. If that team had just one or two more playmakers, the outcome of that game would have been different. I just have this feeling that Miles' luck in overcoming his boneheaded decisions is about to run out. I hope I'm wrong.

Good lord people. I'm betting our offense can't wait to get on the field against Auburn's defense.

LSU will have it's highest offensive output of the season this weekend.

Book it.
