Just reading an article ranking the 10 best WR duos in college football and they mostly had big name guys paired with guys who could be good. There was no mention of LSU's ODB and Juice.

I'm not here to get on that, it just brought to my attention that Beckham and Landry both should explode this year. I know it's just practice but Beckham looked good in the spring game and you constantly hear his name brought up. Same with Landry and from resident TD spies, He was showing out today.

All the pieces are there so it should be no reason not to. I mean for goodness sakes JJ was a true sophomore fresh off of four starts and both Lafell and Tolliver combined for 1527 and 14 TDs with him.

If Mett increases his ypa by 1 yard, with the same amount of throws as last year, he would be knocking on 3k. All that means is connecting on 8 of those bombs he kept over shooting last year.

This year, I think we will put up points like 2011 only it'll be more because of the offense and less because of field position and a stout D.

----------------------------------------------------------------

G1: 227 1 TD

G2: 207 5 TD

G3: 142 3 TD

G4: 177 1 TD

G5: 274 1 TD

G6: 275 2 TD

G7: 105

G8: 193 1 TD

G9: 291 2 TD

Total to date: 1891 16 TD

ETA - THEY HAVE ALREADY EXCEEDED MY PROJECTIONS

10/26/13 - Going to go 2500 yards 23 TDs as my new projection.

I'm not drinking that kool-aid just yet, but I can easily see between 1200-1400 combined and a dozen TDs.

If they get 1700 and 16, then either our defense is shite or we won it all.

They combined for over 1200 yards last year. I think your prediction is possible, but double digit receiving tds has been hard to come by for tiger receivers all time. I think beckham will pick up his td total and have a chance to break 1000 yards if he can maintain to be a real serious deep threat. 50 yard plays from beckham could be a regular occurrence. Jarvis should receive more redzone targets and I think will have a chance to have 10+ tds. I think jarvisnwill lead in catches again and increase his yardage to the 700+ range for the season.

OBJ & Landry both need someone else to step up strong to have those kind of numbers.

I already had ODB(Ol Dirty Bastard) for Beckham and I see Juice on Landry's twitter and here a lot. I'm going by what has already been presented.

Anyway, these guys remind me of Brandin Cooks and Markus Wheaton from last year. I don't expect nearly that much production(yardage-wise), but I believe they can be a top 3 SEC duo this year.

We may throw for a lot of yards and TDs this year without those 2's stats increasing. We will put up better numbers because of throws to the RBs and TEs and hopefully Dural and Leslie, not because of 2 WRs that are short and can't get open. I am of the slightly naive opinion that the drops are a thing of the past, but that's not gonna give OBJ or JL 2 more inches and .2 off their 40 time.
