As soon as the board opened the next day after the game, I was chomping at the bit to air my feelings about our so called OC and start screaming for his departure; glad to see everyone else felt the same way- I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you think things at lsu are "bad", i would also love to know what you think things are like at auburn, Texas and USC.

If they have nothing serious to contribute to a thread then they have no business in it. I don't mind someone playing devil's advocate, but don't hang around a thread when you have nothing to contribute.

Put Studs on Oline only, hire creative/smart OC, give him the keys to the offense to drive, and keep miles out of the front seat. Also, no BBQ sammiches in the press box.

Based on the amount of talent on the offensive side of the ball, it is pretty bad. LSU is lucky their defense is so good, because the offensive half is no better than Auburn or Arkansas.
And the difference between you and me is that you compare LSU to Auburn and Arkansas and say well, it could be worse. I compare them to the top teams in the league, and look at the talented players who give it everything they've got and say... it could be better. It SHOULD be better.
A billboard may be silly in the scheme of things, but it gets the fan's voices heard and let's the world know that we don't want complacency. Stuff like this does have an effect on how things play out.

Here's my contribution. This thread is stupid. No one is doing anything but saying "I'm in" or "put me down for $100"
Not a single dime has been contributed, no one has even contacted Lamar and the excuse is "I don't live in BR". You think you have to live in the city to buy billboard space.
Lamar wouldn't approved the billboard anyway so it's all a moot point.
This thread consists of people pledging imaginary money towards an imaginary billboard. So I do plan on staying in this thread to laugh at this silliness.

lets quit bullshitiing. these boards, banners, billboards are serous money depending on size and how long its up. all we need is a week. there are several companys that will make this deal besides lamar. frickin google it.
its going to cost anywhere from 1,000 to (max) 30,000. depending on size and how long its up. most rates are weekly.
freedom of speech is powerful, the rant is powerful. our boys bustsed that tail and for what? yeah yeah yeah ive heard it all. but whats allways been the case? tell give me that shite about 0-lines and qb's. the players cant speak for them selves and if they do its minimal sidetalk. but we can speak for them.
if you arent serious about this billboard i think you need to stronlgy asses your love for this program. miles is in for a good min. the AD is satisfied while our boys grind it out in the trenches to a OC WHO IS frickIN INCOMPETENT!
so jump threw a hoop make some phone calls. wake some people up. and lets find some one who we can trust to wire the money to and get this done. ill be making some calls today. i have some family members in the rouge.
ill let you know what i come up with.

Since none of you have taken it upon yourselves to inquire with Lamar regarding the possibility of buying a board, I have done it myself and as expected they are not interested at this time. There are obviously other advertising avenues that you guys could pursue but like a few of us stated, Lamar is likely to not want the backlash, understandably in my opinion.

And if there is extra money available donate it to wetlands restoration so it benefits the entire state. Just an idea. I'm sure there are many great ideas too
