LSU is not hosting a regional under any scenario. If they manage to get a 2 seed and win the regional, they may have a chance to get the Super Regional if the 1 seed in the Regional they are paired with loses.

I wouldn’t say under any scenario sir.
If LSU wins the tourney, they will have a huge RPI and SOS boost going through two or three top four teams, so they will host if they win the tournament

The LSU factor could put LSU over the edge for hosting, but only if they win the tourney

I would compare this year to 2010 we were not supposed to be in the tournament going into the SECt but than we sweep through Hoover and get the auto bid. End up as a 2 seed out west.

If we win the tourney, we will have a much better RPI. Its possible we could host, but still very slim.

Our rpi in that case would be likely somewhere in the range of 25-28. With that rpi and our conference record, we are not hosting
