I know it will be an easy win but I would resent those losers latching on to our fame!

If Texas A&M does not return to our regular schedule in the next few years or so, volumes of the oral tradition known as the "Aggie Joke" will be lost forever.

Regardless of Texas A&M's ability in any given year - its worth it - to preserve the Aggie joke.

With the recruiting base in Texas, I think it would be in LSU's best interest to get a Texas team on the schedule. A&M would be the first choice, but any of the Texas schools would be a step up from directional LA schools.

Get one of the top teams in the North to come play here in August. Even if they're better than us they won't handle the humidity/heat as well

Okay, get your grain of salt ready because this comes from an Alabama fan, but to play the likes of Troy and Southwest Junior Mississipi State Community College for your non conference schedule doesn't help. Play a Big Ten, Big 12 or Big East team every year...the ACC is pretty good too. The Sun Belt and WAC don't do anything for your BCS rating or give you a real test before conference schedule time.

USC, UCLA, Cal, Oregon....decent history and close to where I live.

Texas..cause Austin is bad arse.

Michigan, when they are good, because we've never played them.

You don't see alot of home-at-home series anymore but that would help generate publicity both in the SEC and other BCS conferences...I would love to see the SEC partner with the Big Ten or Big 12 in particular...what about having Michigan at LSU or Alabama at Ohio State, or something like that on a regular basis,

I would love to see us play USC every year!! I've also heard "rumors" that there are talks of a possible LSU/Oklahoma home and home series. Which would be pretty bad-arse as well.

Not in the SEC since most of the teams like to play a lot of home games and the in-conference schedule is tough, but you still do in the Big 10, Pac 10 and even the Big 12

That's my point....do you think the Big Ten gets ESPN every damn Saturday because they are so good? NO, they get it because they are a major conference with a long history where the top teams play big non conferene H-A-H series consistently....Ohio State plays Texas, Michigan plays USC and Michigan State plays Notre Dame almost every year, if not every year. The SEC could do better and make even more money with regular, consistent games against major conferences. Early season exposure wont hurt either.

Out of conference games will never matter as much to any SEC schools as the conference rivalry games. Just won't happen.

I think we're going to see more and more neutral site games like you guys did with Clemson so the SEC schools, most of who play a lot of home games for financial reasons, don't have to give up all the ticket revenue

I think a HAH with Oklahoma or Texas for any SEC school would be a good idea. Alabama isn't any better on a consistent basis in who they schedule for non-conf. Why give small schools the big payday and why not GO ON THE ROAD AND BE TESTED early? I just read recently that Georgia will open their home season in 2010 against UL Lafayette...for what, to pound on somebody who walks away with fat pockets?

I'd like to see us monkey-stomp Ohio St. early in the season a couple of times so we don't have to hear about them possibly making it to another NC. They are like the Buffalo Bills of the nineties... really good until it matters.
