"request a sit-down"? Hell no. He knows good and well why he's not playing.'
A "sit down" isn't Gonna change Mile's mind.

Players don't just demand to talk to coaches. Miles would probably tell him to gfy. If he asked for a transfer, that would be different.

There is a reason he is not playing. If Miles thought he could get the job done, he would use him.

He isn't saying that Miles isn't wrong, just that Miles must think JJ is better than JL

Miles has coached in the NFL for one of the highest pressure teams. At this point he must be promising Lee that he will be prepared to compete in the NFL combines and get a shot to make a team via draft or walk on.

I would put the feelers out, make my best deal with an FCS school and walk. The only meeting I would have with Miles and Crowton would be on my way out. This kid deserves better, and so do we but no one is getting it, so he might as well start thinking about his own future.

Yeah, we're 4-0, and we will probably be 5-0 after next week, but the stagecoach will turn into a pumpkin when we line up against Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Arkansas. I have written this coaching staff off.

He thinks JJ will turn the ball over less (proven false), and can get yds thru mobility (also false).

It was true last year, but it isn't true this year about the turnovers. Yeah, I know Toliver should have caught the first INT. and that doesn't help at all, but JJ also had another pass in the red zone that was almost picked (and there might have been one other in the game that came close). Against Vandy he had two fumbles that he recovered and threw another bad pick in the end zone. So the advantages he gave us last year are not present so far overall this year.

And that's a big problem. We're supposed to be moving forward, not backwards. We want to win the West, not just say we were pretty close to winning it. They need big changes one way or another. If JL has been practicing so good and "earned the right" to play regardless of JJ's play according to Les, then why not put him in for a few series and just see what happens? Otherwise, Miles is totally full of $hit with what he is saying. Don't say one thing and totally do something that isn't in line with what you say.
