Destin isn't worth it, If you are waking up and leaving.

Pensacola, and you can stay right off of 10, but if you feel like going further then Tallahassee and have a short drive the next day.

Any excuse to go to Destin is worth it, especially when you will hit AJ's. Hell, I may not even leave and just watch the game in Destin!

Wrong, don't go through Navarre. Exit 54 at Crestview, then take the new bay bridge out of Niceville (off Hwy 20 - you'll see the signs) into Destin. Much quicker.

You sharing the driving? If so I would push for Tally at least. If you cannot get into your hotel in Lake City on Friday PM then at least the drive from Tally to Gainesville on Saturday AM will be manageable. If you can get into a hotel in Lake City on Friday PM push for that.
