not saying he's a great coach, still too early to tell, but you have to give him credit so far for getting great results from that talent. Also, Les is responsible for maintaining this "ridiculous amounts of talent". In reality, there are many other programs with the talent level of LSU. Most here spend all year following just LSU recruits and convince themselves that our talent level is so superior to other programs. Just not true.

So now those teams are overrated, and it's a bad thing to have loads of talent? WTF!

Yeah but this is one season.....one, not four. Saban never...ever....beat Auburn, Florida, and Alabama in the same season.

I just don't think this should be used as a metric to determine coaching greatness. That's like saying Miles is the only coach in LSU history that won 10 games 3 years in a row. Well yeah, but he also had the benefit of one more regular season game and a conference championship game.

What Coach in the country would have started and stuck with J.Lee over JJ. It is clear in all areas that JJ has more talent, more of an athlete and gives us a better chance to win.

Considering JJ knew about 5 plays in the whole playbook, probably most of them. The QB situation was f'd up, there was nothing Miles' could do about that.

Possibily one of the most intelligent post here lately, to bad it will go in one ear and out the other. There is no objectivity here on the rant.

Really? If VT didnt lose to BC on a last second TD, they would have had 1 loss going into the ACC Championship game, which they won.

We wouldnt have gotten in the NC game.

What coach in the nation would have had LSU in a BCS game this year, or even say, a 9-3 record, with the QB play they had this year. NO one

I'm pretty sure that is inaccurate. He lost three in a row. Counting backwards...it was Ole Miss, Bama, Georgia. The SEC home game before the Georgia game was Mississippi State.....which we won.

Come on, man. Stop making stuff up.

Give me one example of why Bob Stoops is such a good coach, and not just general "omg he won a title!". I don't know if any team in the BCS era had the chips fall the way they did for him this year, with the whole OU-TECH-UT debacle this year.
