The Missouri and MS lossess were awful but technically we only have one loss in our division. If we’re somehow able to win out our schedule and beat teams like A&M, Florida, bama and auburn wouldn’t that means we would still have a shot at the SEC championship game and the playoffs? Granted this probably won’t happen but it were to happen would the playoffs still be a realistic goal?

Maybe, but the likely hood of us winning out is unlikely and the e wouodnhave tonnage help from other teams losing games they should win. I don't need how clemson is Los it, ohio state either, and bama looks like they will go undefeated into the playoffs as well. This is why those 2 games we lost to inferior opponents really costs us. Those were bad losses man.

Wrong. Bama would have to lose again.

Again I said this most likely won’t happen but if the defense were somehow able to get their act together and the offense continues to click and we go on a run similar to Auburn in 2017 then technically we would have a shot

When you lose to two of the worst teams in the conference, especially the way we lost, you deserve NOTHING.

Thanks, Bo!

Which is what I assumed those two losses were absolutely gut wrenching especially the Mizzou loss.

Bama needs two losses. Not impossible, Gus will save his job somehow this season.

Listen. You can’t be bringing all that positivity up in here.

Haven’t you heard that our defense can’t stop anyone and the coordinator is a Neanderthalian imbecile and there is no chance of any improvement until he is summarily fired?

Bama would have to drop another game in addition to ours and we'd have to win out, including SEC championship.

It could TECHNICALLY happen, but unlikely for sure.

I'll be happy with a decent bowl.

Bama would have to lose another game. But yes 9-2 SEC champion LSU would get into the playoffs

With that said- were not winning out, no chance

You could have two SEC teams in. Chalk up Ohio state and Clemson but what other team outside those two do you see going undefeated?

I think this is the year a two loss SEC team gets in. Doubt a big 12 team makes it, same with the pac 12

The OP’s premise is we run the table. 7-game win streak, including Alabama’s first (only?) loss.

If it’s there only loss, our case would hinge on other conferences not producing a quality 1-loss runner up. So etching like Notre dame beats Clemson then Clemson bests Notre dame.

If it’s their first loss then we would go on to win the SECCG I think we are definitely in

It’s out of our control though. Either case depends on external help. And I can never in my memory as a tiger fan remember the iron bowl, going our way when our fate depended on it.
