I’m afraid we are going to miss out on some good coaches

Freeze will get hired

Cristobal will either move schools or get a huge raise

Same with Campbell

Napier will get hired probably

It is worth giving Toe 1 more year and losing out on all of these guys?

Unless O is implicated in the title IX stuff he's not going anywhere this season.

His buyout plus assistant buyouts are astronomical.

With LSU just starting their investigation it could take a while to find out.

There will be another crop of good coaches after them. Then another then another then another. Whenever LSU makes the move there will be a coach out there for them to hire.

Woody had a good track record of making splash hires pulling guys.

Just got to sit back and let lsu collect more facts on who did what related to the coverup.

you may have to take the loss, stop the bleeding, and take a shot at Napier

he wont demand much money and will just be happy for the opportunity

Absolutely correct. Let’s see the athletic department is 80 million in the hole. Don’t think the AD is willing to eat all of the buyouts.

And if that happens - things will get much, much worse.

Freeze is really good, but will never be LSU’s Coach given the current circumstances with Title9 and NCAA.

Our next head coach will have zero NCAA baggage and a clean history without sanctions.

Any talk of Freeze, or a Briles, or any other coach with previous NCAA issues, will never happen given the current circumstances at LSU.

My guess is Campbell, Napier, Brady, Aranda or Sarkisian being the possible candidates, with Napier being the most likely and most realistic.

This is a good list. I'd lean Napier from this group.

Cristobal is pretty much the same as Coach O. Line coach who can recruit but no real scheme expertise, and he's struggled mightily with in-game management.

If they are going to fire O, you can bet someone else has already been lined up for the job.

My personal belief, and this is merely speculation, is that Napier has already been lined up for it. Again, just my opinion in connecting the dots given all the current circumstances (Title9, budget, recruiting, USCe, etc)

There will always be good coaches available and LSU is an extremely valued opportunity. With that said the decisions to be made don’t have as much to do with who is available as to who is liable.
I believe a wild ride is upon us. But what do I know.
