Not sure we'd match up well with state yet.

Another smartazz spinning the OP to fit his agenda. I'm simply posing a easy question based on the level the team is playing at NOW.

You are posing a question for which there is no dependable data with which to answer.

You referring to another as "smartazz" is amusing.

Something else amusing...you dropping into the thread to stir the pot.

Don't ever miss that opportunity.

Invite Troy back for an exhibition game rematch and let’s find out.
Hell they might even give LSU a discount on the $985k appearance fee this time.

That single play changed the entire dynamic of the game....and it was without a doubt, one of the shittiest calls I've ever seen against us.

If we play the if game, negatigers can say we're two unforced errors from 4-4. FU doinked a game tying extra point which broke their momentum allowed us to bleed the clock. Auburn dropped an interception late in the first half which allowed us to close the gap.

If you flip all four of those games we have the same record now, just with less heat on O and Amoeba.

What was yesterday is the past, what is tomorrow is not promised, it is today that is important.

Are we 's better team now than when those games were played? I think so.

If you are asking if the current team went back and played those games, I think we beat Troy but not sure about Mississippi State.

Hell, we beat Troy if the refs don't put two seconds back on the clock at halftime and allow them to get their field-goal team lined up and ready to kick (you know, the three points they won by)

I'm seriously disappointed that the Rant has not bitched about this more

Miss St = NO
Troy = YES (in traditional gold/ white/ gold uniforms)
= NO (in purple jerseys). Too much bad mojo assoc. w/ Troy & purple shirts.

If we play Auburn again, do we win?

Probably not.

I think we do win both of those games. But the Florida or Auburn game could still have easily gone either way. I think if you had to play AU/UF again we'd lose at least one - maybe both.

Disagree....I think we could defeat any time we've already played again.

Why???? Because the team as a whole has improved in all facets.

Why does it matter?

Games are played when they are played. Would LSU have beaten Auburn in 2001 had they played in September the Saturday just after 9-11 instead of getting that whole second half of the season to figure out Rohan to Reed kind of worked and playing them the first Saturday of December? Hell...would TENN have beaten UF for the very same reason?

Fact is, games are played when they are played and the score of those games goes down for all time. Nothing else matters.
