Why is this so hard to understand? Wade has text threads on his personal cell phone, was moving money from personal bank accounts, and is on tape talking about deals to get players.
It is very disingenuous to fall back on "everyone else is doing it" when Wade was almost asking to get nailed by being so careless.

That their best defense you come up with but but but ma he did it too is pretty weak.
Everyone knows CBB is dirty but as the brilliant attorney Lt Daniel Kaffee said it doesn’t matter what you believe it only matters what you can prove, so unless you have Coach K on tape saying he made a “strong arse offer” to Zion you are just making crybaby excuses

He definitely wouldn’t have a job… In hindsight we probably should have fired him after the suspension… the craziest part of it all is fans thinking he should still be coaching now… Will won’t coach college basketball again

At the end of the day, none of the rant or debates matter at all. What's done is done. Wade is gone. In my opinion, he needed to go. Not at all because he was a bad coach. Because he did not display the ability to operate a program with integrity. If you're a great coach you shouldn't need to break the rules. You should be able to recruit and coach at a high level and win within the rules. You also place the program and your players at the top of your priority list. You don't do things that could jeopardize your team, the organization or the University. If you have to cheat, break rules or make illegal offers, then you're just not a great coach. You may be able to "coach" basketball, but you're not a great leader of the program. Wade failed as a leader and did not deserve to continue to run the program. You can also say that Woodward wanted him gone. He was not Woodward's guy. Well, at this point, based on the characters of his other hires, I would absolutely agree. My hope now is that Wade has learned his lesson and applies that to his next job. I also hope that Woodward brings in the caliber of coach who doesn't need to cheat to win. Be pissed about all the people you want, but the only person people should be pissed at is Wade. He is the one that made the choice. No one else made him do it.
