And yet you seem to forget that Stoops REBUILT OU from shite since 1998.

Miles never had to rebuild and had one of the most talented teams in history his first 3 years.

I love how people assume Mack Brown wouldn't be winning 10+ games a year in the SEC. What has he done to prove he wouldn't? Lose to OU? Well, guess that means he sucks.

And based on the last three years of recruiting, he's going to win even more.

Mark Ingram (the Heisman winner) and their best defensive player Rolando McClain, along with Julio Jones and Trent Richardson were recruited by Saban.

Alabama was in much better shape when he got there than LSU, but unlike LES, he has proven he can build a program and win with his own players.

2003- 21 hold overs from Dinardo Era
2007- 34 holdovers from Saban Era

This is when they won their National Titles in case you were curious.

The 04 team was more balanced than the 09 team and played more disciplined football.

let's see...

- penalty yards per game about the same
- 04 had 10 interceptions, 09 had 8
- 04 had 22 fumbles and lost 15, 09 fumbled 17 times and lost 6
- 04 had a minus 2 turnover margin, 09 was plus 4
- 09 allowed fewer points per game
- Justin Vincent got fat

I don't really see much of a "discipline" difference.

I'll wager $100 with you right now that Saban's 4th and 5th year at Bama with his recruits will produce a better record than Miles 4th and 5th year at LSU with his recruits.

So true. Anyone still trying to somehow prove that Miles is as good as Saban is just making a fool of themselves now. It's just not even close, and any objective observer can see that. This doesn't mean we don't love and support LSU, it's just accepting the facts.

Thats a sucker bet ....Its not about the recuits its about the development of these recruits .....I'll say it again , Its not the fact we lost 4 games , its the manner in which they were lost . Same can be said for the wins .

Shhhhh... trying to get this guy to put his money where his mouth is. So what if it's an easy $100 for me, if this guy had any manhood he would accept the wager since he believes Saban was winning on Shula's recruits and Miles is the better coach.

McClain was committed when Saban got there...he was going to Bama if Finebaum were the coach.

true, but technically Les did better than Saban did with Saban's players. (as long as we're throwing out bullshite anecdotes)

this was a 8 win team when satan left remember that

JR was a redshirt FR. That was the problem. Had Saban stayed 06 would have been a great year. IMO
