Brother in Christ, love the enthusiasm. But, we aren’t hosting a regional or super regional. Sorry to burst your bubble

Hope like hell I’m wrong and somehow we get a super

Click the link. I know we aren't hosting, We would be a #2 in Virginias Regional paired with Florida St. in the Super Regionals. I really like that bracket for us.

Virginia Regional
#10 Virginia
LSU
James Madison
Bryant

Florida State Regional
#7 Florida St.
Louisiana Tech
Florida
FAMU

Trace, can you explain the FSU super pipeline? Is that with the assumption all hosts ahead of us win and us being the highest ranked 2 that advances? Or did I miss something in the link?

I like that because we would probably be playing Florida in a super at the Box. Would be a hell of a rematch to get back to Omaha.

They have no way of knowing who will go where that is all based on the committee. But,
1-16, 2-15, 3-14 is how all the pairing happen. So, in this projection they have Virginia as the #7 seed and #10 as Florida State. The winner of those 2 regionals would play each other in the super regionals. Whether it be Virginia and Florida St, or LSU and Florida. If LSU won and Florida St won because they are a #1 seed LSU would play in Florida St. If Florida and LSU both won as #2 seeds I forgot how it is decided who host maybe its a bidding thing? I honestly completely forgot about that scenario.

FSU is 3-0 against Florida this year and outscored them 45-15 over those three games

If state loses tonight and tomorrow and we win out who takes the 16 spot?

I think State has done enough at this point to host regardless of what happens tonight or tomorrow

I wanna guess Duke or Wake Forest without looking to deep into it if Miss St isn't #16. We will not host our regular season conf record wasn't good enough.
