Don’t read it! Your post is not all world either. You read something then complain about what you read. You give all of your wisdom and insight to try to belittle this poster when I really think your envious and you’re just trying to draw attention to yourself.

There's a guy at LSU Eunice that has turned them into a powerhouse. Just saying

I think pitching wise it would work here. Good West coast coaches know how to handle pitching and develop their pitching into great pitching.

I think Savage is a great coach, but I don't think bringing in a West Coast guy would work here.

Couldn’t stand watching the way Oregon State played when they took a trip down here. Not sure how I would feel about watching Little League levels of micro managing mound visits, time outs, and slowing the game down at any cost.

Maybe someone with fire in there eyes more motivation. Maybe he lost his motivation after his dad died.

Do you think Joe Torre would come out of retirement?

Were not firing Paul. Look at contracts before you and 1000 others start mouthing off for a new coach.

Paul isn’t going anywhere for at least another season. The seat will be warm though heading into next season if there isn’t a serious turnaround. He could retire...but I just don’t see it.

Coach Warren Morris has a nice ring to it.

I hate that argument. We are LSU. this is not football or basketball. We can hire from top of food chain. That does not mean we get the best of best but we PM wasn’t that either when we hired him.

this is the exact mindset of why this fan base is always left disappointed. this isnt the skip era. lsu isn't the only school putting money into baseball. lsu doesn't have the best facilities. lsu isn't the only school getting high level recruits to put off pro ball for a couple of years and go to school instead. it's a totally different landscape now. there are a ton of schools now putting an emphasis on baseball and committing resources to it now. schools all over the conference are getting 1st round draft picks to come to school. that stuff just didn't happen 10-15 years ago compared to how much it happens now. lsu isnt going to win the conference every year. they aren't going to host and make it Omaha every year. would i like for them to be better than they have the past couple of years? of course but shite happens sometimes and things don't go your way. i see a bunch of mediocre coaches listed in this thread and the countless other ones and others who have done less with more (corbin and o'sullivan)that people want to come here. seriously? the first time they struggle you'll want them out want someone else. i just wish people would be realistic about what college baseball is these days and understand that lsu is not head and shoulders above the rest of the country like they were before. but then most people enjoy being miserable so they will go on being disgusted with everything.

There are so many talented coaches. CPM doesn’t coach a base or recuit, or coach hitting, or have instincts for pulling pitchers.

With our brand, and a young dynamic coach, we will take off.

I’m just worried CPM will be still coaching here when he’s in a walker and wearing dentures. He seems to have some kind of secret unbreakable lifetime contact.

John Savage a call first though just to see if we could possibly get lucky and get one of those guys

We wouldn't be lucky to have Savage. Dudes made the CWS 3 times in 13 years. Missed the postseason 4 times and lost in the regionals 6 times. With the talent he has in that state he severely underachieves. I like Tadlock though
