Picking only one I have to say the gumps so we get to the SEC CG.
Beating USC though would give me great satisfaction for their thinking they share our 2003 NC.

The team that we face in the NC, it doesn;t matter what you do during the season AS long as you end up in the Championship game. All other goals are secondary.

You might as well pick Alabama. Despite all the media love we're getting, I think we're a little to thin on the DL to win the BCSCG this season, and it's a stretch to say we'll get there.
I think we'll lose two games but make it to a BCS bowl and win it.
Anything else would be gravy.

The real question should be- If you could only play and beat one of them in THE BCS NCG, which team would it be?

I don't really dislike USC, just the media virtually ignoring LSU's 2003 BCS NC, and propping up USC's ""AP" NC.
Funny, in 2004, all that was mentioned was USC's """"""""""BCS""""""""" NC and their chance for a "threepeat."

You do realize USC won 25 more straight games after the end of the 03 season. LSU laid an egg the next season- relatively speaking. I think that had something to do with it.

USC... Living in Arizona I have to deal with delusional PAC 12 fans on a daily basis. All I heard last summer was how Oregon was gonna finally put the SEC in its place and well... We all know what happend in that ball game

I assume we are talking University of Southern California, not University of South Carolina. And Id rather beat USC because its means we have already gotten to the MNC to even get the chance to play them.

We've played Bama solidly head-to-head. I don't think there's anyone who would challenge the assertion that we're on equal footing.
Haven't had the chance to play the Trojans, though; and I can think of a few broadcasters who don't miss a chance to state "USC is better". I'd absolutely love to beat them down in a relevant game. Been wanting that about a decade now.

being in my 40s, I'd also say I want to play- and pound- Nebraska in a meaningful game, too.
