Based on all the posts about Jimbo, Mond, and aggy, it seems most would be happy with 500 yards of passing and a 2 point loss.

It’s Auburn at their house. Did you just start watching LSU football? That is always a difficult game.

Had em beat last trip down there if not for one second.

So now LSU should feel good about moral victories?

We were competitive with Auburn on the road in 2016. How did that work out for the fans and coaching staff?

Honestly, it’s amazing to me how much the goal post have widen and gotten closer since that point in time.

My point is that I’m not ok with just being competitive. I want to win. What’s wrong with that?

Oh, and when’s the last time Auburn beat us in Baton Rouge? Do you think their fans just want a competitive game and are ok with losing when they go on the road?

You sound like a vagina. We go to winning 9 games with Les Miles is garbage and fire him, to accepting Ed O and his mediocre 7-8 wins. I can't stand you idiots.

Agree. Many of the sky-falling posters here do not understand the psychology behind all this. LSU is going to be very good next Saturday, mentally and physically; and we may win the ballgame.

We fired a coach that averaged ten wins a season...and I was one that thought it was time for him to go.

And now you are trying to tell us that if we lose close games we should be happy.

Are you fricking serious?

“ many of the sky-falling posters”

You don’t have to be a member of the sky is falling brigade to be concerned about the LSU offense to this point in time.

Having offensive numbers that are mainly in the triple figures in national rankings should be disturbing to all LSU fans after the offensive display we witnessed in 2017.

We all hope that turns around sooner rather than later.

Just reading the first sentence alone deserves a downvote. I don’t get how you can think this way.

Why did we fire Les after losing at Auburn?

Because he was 2-2 and hadn't changed the offense at all after barely keeping his job the previous season and promising everyone in control that he would make changes.

Explain how not being able to hold Southeastern's defensive line at bay was a psychological move to get us ready to play at Jordan Hare.

Yeah, the coach of that game was fired less than 24 hours later.

But if we can just keep it competitive, we comin, again.
