How else can it be taken, not to mention that anytime someone dogs sweet Les Miles you get your panties in a wad!!!!

LSU v USC in Dallas in 2011 would be epic.
LSU v USC in Baton Rouge would be even better.

But, earlier you said that Miles was better than Kiffin. You're definitely confused.

Its obvious he jumps at any chance to bash Miles...it doesnt matter how right, wrong, true, or false it is. Even if it contradicts something he's previously stated. Its like a special form of Turrets Syndrome...he can't help himself.

well as I have stated before. I doubt the SEC schedule is as tough as you say.
It's usually tougher than SC's. Why do you think that SC didn't make it in the NC game in 2003?
OK Let me guess, the BCS games is worth alot of money. BCS headquarters is located in Dallas. Big 12 representative gets to play LSU. Not so hard to figure it out. Too bad because I think the entire nation wanted to see LSU play USC... We all missed out on a great game...
quote:
And you don't always play them every year
We play Florida and Bama annually
OK so you play 2 tough teams. Hmmm..
SC plays Notre Dame annually, Oregon Annually, Washington annually (granted Washington has been down recently but Alabama hasn't been so hot until last year). Don't bring up the year before because they got WAXED by Utah.
quote:
If your teams travelled up to Minnesota or Oregon or Ohio State in November when it can sleet, Hail and SNOW and the weather and wind tanks your passing game plus any speed away. You would find yourself losing more games than you do.
There's no need for us to do that. We can get in national title games with the schedules we have as long as we go undefeated or only lose 1. Hell, we can lose 2 games and still make it in the national title game. Do you not understand? Why take on tougher teams when you don't have to?
Yes that is true. That is why the BCS is BS... Put the best two teams on the field. I would rather have a playoff.
But I fear the real loser is the LSU fans. Would you really want to see LSU stomp Louisiana Lafayette than play SC, Ohio STate, Penn State, Oregon, FSU, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, Texas etc??? Would you really?
quote:
But you don't. And your out of conference games are against patsies..
Like I said, our conference schedule provides us enough competition where we can still make it into the national titles. SC probably wouldn't play the OOC teams if the conference schedule wasn't as soft as it is.
Oh that isn't correct. SC has always travelled to play anyone anywhere. The Notre Dame game 70 years ago was established between SC and Knute Rockne. It represented the best football team in the East vs. the best football team in the West. In the last 10 years SC has gone to Virginia, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Auburn, Arkansas, and Kansas State to play teams.
The SC game vs. Alabama is a watershed game as that game alone helped integrate the football team for Alabama...
SC travels. Always has. You can check it out for yourself... That is one reason they can recruit so well Nationally.

actually, LSU's schedule is considered #10 in the land for this coming season.
North Carolina and WV in ooc.
PS. LSU has home and home with Oklahoma coming up.
and WV next year on the road.

Dude, please edit your post. I can't follow what the hell you are trying to say.

USC had plenty of chances to get an SEC team into the Rose Bowl. The year we crushed Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl, LSU had sold 30,000 on-line tickets in one hour for the Rose Bowl but USC backed out and wanted MICHIGAN instead (henceforth, they crushed Michigan). The next year, they could have landed Georgia, but Georgia got stuck with Hawaii in the Sugar and Illinois got pounded by USC. The following year, USC and the Rose Bowl chose Penn State over the No. 2 SEC team (I can't remember who the team was that played in the Sugar Bowl that year). USC uses the Bowl-Tie-Ins as an excuse to keep the "Grandaddy on Life Support.'' The Rose Bowl is preventing the playoff everybody wants. Now, that an LSU man is the NCAA President, we may finally get our hands around the throats of the Trojans in a playoff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (After they come off probation - it would have been nice to kick Pete Carrol's arse - AUBURN BLEW IT BOTH YEARS - That's why they were ranked so low and didn't get a shot at the national championship because USC drummed them on the Plains and at the Coliseum - GEE THANKS AUBURN!!!!!!!!
The last four years has spoken volumes about which is the MONSTER conference. Just keep Auburn out of the conversation when it comes to USC - Arkansas also. Carrol drummed Arkansas like 60 points. Then, the Hogs beat Texas, which was in the Top 10. Kiffin knows who to pick a fight with in the SEC. It won't be LSU, Florida, Alabama or Georgia.

And in the last 10 years LSU has gone to ASU, AZ, Virginia Tech, Auburn, Arkansas, Washington, & a neutral site game vs UNC. West Virginia next year....etc. That's 3 games east of the Mississippi, not one.
I agree that USC's OOC has historically been better than LSU's, but I think LSU is starting to move away from the OOC yawners. They come back to ASU in a couple years, home-and-home with OU and go to WVU next year. I think they're doing a better job.
And this idea that the SEC plays paties OOC is a myth!! From 2002 to 2010:
Alabama: Oklahoma '02&'03, @Florida State '07, Clemson (in Atl)'08, VA Tech (in Atl) '09, Penn State '10.
Arkansas: Boise State '02, Texas '03,'04&'08, USC '05&'06, TX A&M '09&'10 (Dallas).
Auburn: USC '02&'03, GaTech '03&'05, Wash State '06, Kansas State '07, West Virginia '08&'09, Clemson '10.
Florida: Florida State annually, Miami '02,'03&'08.
Georgia: Georgia Tech annually, Clemson '02&'03, Boise State '05, Colorado '06&'10, Oklahoma State '07&'09, Arizona State '08&'09.
Kentucky: Louisville annually.
LSU: Virgina Tech '02&'07, Arizona '03&'06, Oregon State '04, Arizona State '05, Washington '09, UNC '10, West Virginia '10.
Ole Miss: TX Tech '02&'03, Missouri '06&'07, Wake Forest '06&'08.
Mississippi State: Oregon '02&'03, West Virginia '06&'07, Georgia Tec '08&'09.
South Carolina: Clemson annually, Virginia '02&'03.
Tennessee: Miami '02&'03, Notre Dame '04&'05, Cal '06&'07, Air Force '06, UCLA '08&'09, Oregon '10.
Vanderbilt: Georgia Tech '02&'03&'09, TCU '03, Wake Forest '05,'07&'08&'10, Michigan '06, Northwestern (nerd bowl)'10, UConn '10.
I believe that's NINE PAC 10 teams since 2002 on that list of "patsies".
Then, I'll bet you almost anything that the SEC's bowl strength of schedule is a little better than the PAC 10's over the last 10 years.
Get outta here with that "SEC don't play anybody" bullshite. I just showed you they have played most of the PAC10. Unless the PAC10 is nobody. Then let's throw in all the bowl victories and National Championships in the last 8 years....
For you to call the SECs OOC schedule a bunch of patsies when they've played almost the entire PAC10 makes you sound fricking stupid! How has the PAC10 been making out against the Mountain West lately???
GTFO!

The way the jacked up bowl system is set up, the SEC can't get their hands on the Pac 10 unless it's regular season or for the national championship. Since the Pac 10 doesn't have a conference championship, they will likely get left out of the BCS Title game due to lack of momentum and computer strength of schedule (which was diminished). Usually, a No. 3 SEC team has to play a No. 2 ACC or No. 2 Little 10 team. There's no No. 2 vs. No 2 or No. 3 vs No. 3. The ACC and Little 10 always have the higher seeded team in the bowl game, but it usually doesn't matter. PLAYOFF, PLAYOFF, PLAYOFF!!!!!!!!

It just irritates the shite out of me to hear these PAC10 fans and homers on the radio here in Phoenix talk about how the SEC is overrated & they play no one OOC. It's a myth.
What also aggrivates me is how they make fun of SEC fans for sticking together when all of them kiss USC's arse to no end.
I wish we could settle it on the field. LSU vs USC home-and-home.

LSU plays the last two National Champions annually and the best you can come up with is Notre Dame an Oregon? Yes, Utah waxed Bama, but when is the last time the SEC lost 8 in a row to the Mountain West????
Alabama has been hot a couple times before last year buddy. They had an undefeated regular season in '08, won double digit games in '05 and won the SEC in '99. I would also stop talking about the Gumps considering they're lined up for a good run to pile on to that great football tradition of theirs with that little short tanned bastard who is a far better coach than Kiffin. I'll bet Bama piles up more wins this decade than USC does.

If we had a soft conference schedule like Southern Cal, I would love to. Don't try to play as if Southern Cal is somehow tougher than LSU because y'all may play some tougher OOC teams. If your conference schedule was tougher, y'all wouldn't be in to that as much. But, I can understand how an SC/Pac-10 fan would like us to play tougher teams so it'll increase our chances of losing and thus increase our likelihood of not getting in the national title game.
I'm really not convinced you are someone with LSU fans best interest at heart

Once the Pac-10 gets tougher, we'll see if SC continues to play tough OOC games.

Neither LSU or I has anything to prove to you. Plenty of people know the SEC is the toughest conference in the country and there is no real need for us to play the OOC games you think we should. You want us to do that to hopefully increase the number of losses so it'll eliminate us from BCS title games and make way for SC.
In the meanwhile, Lane Kiffin is your coach and SC is on sanctions. Have fun.
