If Tyron Johnson stayed at LSU

Living in Stillwater I get asked a lot about him. Where do you think he would be on the depth chart with our stacked receiving corp if he stayed. Would have been a senior this year here, but a junior at Okie Lite since he sat out in 2016.

He was talented. I haven’t followed him since.
I would imagine he would be in the rotation somewhere after Giles.

That was with Mason Rudolph at QB in a pass happy offense.
There might be way less touches for TJ if OSU goes with the new DT QB.

He was behind 2 seniors who both got drafted FYI
But he also hurt himself getting into trouble early on at OSU. This will be his make or break year.

I wanted 7-8 OSU games last year and I never saw him get looks unless he was running a go route. I know one of the knocks on him coming out of HS was that he never really learned how to run crisp routes and he had that issue at LSU as well. I'm far from an expert, but he might not ever be a great route runner.

His biggest issue is his attitude, it got him in trouble here, and got him trouble at OSU already. If he keeps that in check, he can tear apart Big 12 secondaries no problem.
He had 4 catches for 118 yards and 2 TD against OU last year in a back and forth game.

well, Johnson hasn't played in many either and hasn't showed he has 5 star talent in the snaps he has played
