I'll never forget him busting a long TD run on the first offensive play against Arky in 2001. Guy was a stud

I watched Toefield against Evangel I think 97-98. Evangel was loaded on defense and after the game the whole team was across the field to congratulate Toe on the game he had. It was a great game Evangel won something like 47-34. Toe finished with 165 on the ground.

He'd be up there in the top 5. A. Broussard is another that was not the same after getting hurt too. He was a bad mother till his knee tore up.

I remember in the very first NCAA game, NCAA 2002 I believe? I did an LSU Dynasty and won the Heisman with Toefield after racking up 3,000 total yards and like 50+ TDs with him lol.

Ask Rohan how much safer he felt on dropbacks when Toe was in the game, he'll tell you. Loved me some Toe.

That run against Tennessee in 2000 was epic
It was awesome. However, what I remember about Toe is that he would get some tough yards. There were runs that he made that got the O-line pumped up because of his determination and will.
The Tennessee game was the rebirth of Tiger Stadium and the rebirth of our program IMO. I was fortunate enough to be there.

Cecil Collins could have been the best ever.

I loved watching Toe and Broussard

The Tennessee game was the rebirth of Tiger Stadium
How ironic, that just the week before was perhaps the low point in Tiger Stadium history, a most embarrassing defeat at the hands of UAB! In fact, some Tennessee players during the week were dismissing the impact of Tiger Stadium and home crowds, saying it was a venue not to be feared by opposing teams. Boy were they ever proven wrong.

I was at the evangel game as well. One of the best individual performances I have ever seen in high school.
