How ironic, that just the week before was perhaps the low point in Tiger Stadium history, a most embarrassing defeat at the hands of UAB! In fact, some Tennessee players during the week were dismissing the impact of Tiger Stadium and home crowds, saying it was a venue not to be feared by opposing teams. Boy were they ever proven wrong.

It wasn't just the Vol players. The featured columnist for the Knoxville paper wrote an article about the myth of Tiger Stadium.
Rohan Davey became a hero that day. Few remember that we had a third and long deep in our own territory after the Vols had tied it late. Ro stood in the pocket in the face of massive pressure, took a big hit and converted. Had he not done that, the Vols would have had great field position and a chance to win with a late FG.
Amazing game. An all time great performance by Ro.

I think he sat out his senior season at Independence, at least he was sitting out when we played him, and I remember our coaches taking turns at halftime to go get his autograph

He injured his acl in spring pratice, sat out his senior year, and LSU still wanted him.

In high school he had many 6 touchdown games. It was fun to watch.

Hmmm, was TR around back then? Because if so, I highly doubt this statement is completely accurate

How can you even compare TR vs Tiger Stadium....you are definitely not a LSU FAN......

If tm7 played in 2012 LSU wins the national title.

I like "what if's" personally, and this is another solid argument
