Depends on what the facts say concerning his testimony come April and any verified evidence that proves unimpeachable

I don’t give a shite what the facts say. Cheating shouldn’t be a fireable offense in college basketball.

Doesnt matter at this point. Wade wont come back, nor should he. His bosses threw him under the bus the second the tide turned. T-Bob made a good point that Wade didnt trust Alleva to have his back, so he didnt have the meeting. He wont come back. Everyone is going to transfer out and we're gonna be left with Skylar Mays and Marshall Graves.

This is how I feel as well

I'd rather ride with a good coach who got caught cheating than go with an unproven commodity who just hasn't gotten caught yet.

The patriots didn't fire Belichick did they?

If T-Bob thinks that was the reason not to meet, he's very wrong!

Will is slated to testify in Federal Court in April. WTF were Alleva an Fking trying to do? Buy themselves a subpoena too? Calling that meeting either requires an anus for a brain, or was designed to give an excuse to get rid of Wade.

The latter would support Wade's mistrust, and boost basis for the TBob supposition. But Wade would not have had that conversation with anyone, regardless of trust. It could even set the people he was talking with up for a perjury trap.

When everyone else starts playing by the rules, then I’ll support firing a coach who doesn’t. Until then the rules are for nothing more than appearances and shouldn’t be followed.

Wade didn't have the meeting because his lawyer told him to STFU. Nothing more, nothing less.

It's not about the action, it's about the timing.

If, in April, it came out that Wade blatantly bought players, then he's out. And the fan base, at that time, would say "aw shite, and things looked so promising. Why'd he have to go and do that?"

But we don't have official proof now, we don't have an NCAA investigation breathing down our necks. We have:
1) a fresh new SEC championship
2) national media that has been butt-hurt for the past month that LSU beat Kentucky and Tennessee
2-a**) a whole lot of also-Saints fans still seething about the Rams fiasco

This has been a rough stretch to be a fan in South La, and we're pretty much fed up with things. Wade's a winner, traditionally the "caught with a live boy or dead girl" rule would apply to him. Alleva and the BOS showed incredible lack of awareness in the way this went down; we want our leadership to stand beside us and yell "no, frick YOU" back at the critics and national media. Not pulling the plug the night before we wrap the title up.

Was it the right thing? Remains to be seen, but it was done the wrong way, which has become way too familiar around here.

Aleva has a history of immediately shitting himself and throwing his own program under the bus. I figure he’ll vacate the season’s wins himself, proactively.

A few years ago the head of ATC walked out of his home to find his vehicle stolen. Not far away it was found. On fire.

This was reported on Tigerdroppings before BRFD was even on the scene.

There are certain things you don't do.
