Six days. Don't see how Miles survives the entire debacle in the long run. Maybe they're trying to work out something more dignified than a Fulmer-style firing in exchange for Miles forfeiting some of that buyout.

Nah, recruits typically don't waver over losses. Instability in the staff will shake the recruiting foundation though.

I fail to see what anyone officially employed by/representing LSU has done to "let this linger". Seems like yet another media-driven circus. Did Alleva not say he won't comment on anything until after the ATM game? What if he said Les is staying and then he's fired? That would go over great huh?

That's just crazy. These moves are hardly ever made or commented on until after the last game of the season. Theres always smoke and rumors around the situation and it'll be addressed after the A&M game.

I wouldn't put it past this staff to finish up strong anyway. In other words, while your logic is sound, and Alleval would literally be making things harder on the program (a cardinal sin), the recruiters on this staff probably succeed anyway.

Leaking Miles is coaching for his job doesn't set up for much success imo. Neither is handcuffing him on coordinator hires. There is no turning back now for Alleva.
