If the rumors are true Orgeron bungled it badly. It wasn’t about his political views or personal feelings. It was him misjudging the moment and failing to show any understanding. Why should anyone be surprised? He’s not especially intuitive or perceptive. He’s bull headed and obtuse.
Regardless of how you personally view racial relations, these players have different experiences and perspective. One can’t simply discount or dismiss it. That only compounds the disconnect,
Other coaches successfully navigated a difficult time and actually used it for team building.
Orgeron’s “treat the players like they are my sons” was bullshite.

All this wokeness, is causing a lot of losing both team wise and for each individual player. Dropping down the draft because of performance.
I'm not sure who is showing who but, (really think about this)
Get woke, go broke.
$$$ lost by a lot of people, thats all im saying. If this is bigger than that, well these young men worked hard to get where they are to- throw away over something like this.
Ryan Clark ESPN has got his money already, easy for him to say stuff like he has. If he wanted to help he should have handled this in a different way, thinking of the player first. And how it would effect the players bottom line.
My .02 cents
*Before you call me a racist, no I'm a REALIST*

Was his “gold hooded jacket” new, since he got rid of his LSU gear a few months ago?
Look, I think O deserves a shitload of criticism for numerous things. But the whole, O hates the black players at LSU was bullshite from the get go. I have no doubt that RC was undermining O and was doing so in the vein of race baiting. The players are tuned in to social media 24/7. I said that O lost the locker room on the day of the march, and I still stand by that. Perhaps RC is repping LSU again because O may be on the way out.
If so, then he comes off as a petulant child that got his way.
Again, O deserves the criticism he is getting for numerous decisions, but you “white knighting” for RC, given what he tweeted, his influence over the players, and his impact (negatively as of this year) on the program makes ZERO sense to me.
You do you though.

Why are you still talking about a conflict between two individuals that I would assume have had a conversation and cleared up their differences by now. And I find it strange that of all the people that I would expect to respond to this post. It turns out to be the guy that was telling others to get with the program. Are you now reverting back to negativity and divisiveness, make up your mind.

So you don’t know the internal issues either?

I don’t recall ever saying otherwise.

Haha, I have been accused of being a sunshine pumper on numerous occasions. I would actually consider myself to simply be an objective fan.

Iirc, they did so after LSU, and after RC showed his arse, and after Chase opted out. Don’t get me wrong, it was intelligent on their part, but Saban even uttered the dreaded “All lives matter” statement. Fortunately for him and Alabama, they didn’t have a RC with an axe to grind.

Then Bama and aTm too. LSU was no lone ranger here

That's your wasted prerogative Drizzle Mike. Besides how do you know that you hate me when you don't know me, oh that's right you're prejudiced.

What's the definition of a racist, hating somebody you don't even know. Constantly bringing up racial issues when everybody else is discussing sports. How weak is a person that hates somebody that has different opinions than they do. This is about Drizzle Mike.
