There’s absolutely no reason for you to have that level of confidence. If the SEC wants to maintain the LSU-Alabama rivalry, LSU-Oklahoma won’t be permanent. If they go to only one permanent, LSU-Oklahoma won’t happen. They are not going to manipulate the decision making process for permanent opponents just to create an artificial LSU-Oklahoma rivalry or maintain an artificial Arkansas-Missouri one. That doesn’t mean LSU-Oklahoma won’t be what they decide, but it won’t be a driver of the decision. Everything about the new conference structure is new. We have no way of knowing how things will shake out.

That isn't what I said, not even close. I wasn't talking about the level of excitement to LSU fans, I was talking about to fans of other schools.

Ole miss has won 11 games ONCE in its history. It came in 2023. Jesus Christ some of you believe they are part of the blue bloods in CFB. If LSU gets rid of them on their schedule, so be it. I'd rather play Alabama every year. They've always, and will be a 2nd tier program. Kiffin, will leave for a better job. Yeah, I know his old lady likes it in Oxford, blah blah blah. He's an egomaniac, that will eventually get sick of the bowtie wearing old money cronies. It's not a premier job, period. Even Tommy Tuberville gave them the finger and went to Auburn.

Well the whole basis of my argument is that they’re not doing only 1 permanent opponent bc even LSU-Bama isn’t as big as Iron Bowl. Whether it’s 8 or 9 games, it seems likely it will be more than 1 permanent

In almost every iteration of 3 permanent opponents for LSU included Ole Miss and A&M as two of the 3. They aren’t going to take either Ole Miss or A&M away from LSU just to create a fake rivalry with Oklahoma.

What’s the deal with playing TAMU? Much rather Ole Piss and/or Gumps.
if it's only 1 permanent opponent, Ole Miss will play Miss St, and Bama will play Auburn.

Your only choices would be Arky or aTm.
