If Miles wins out, besides the bama game...

Is his job safe? A 2 loss season and ranked top 15 might save his job. Watch and see

It'll be closer than the experts think.
The deciding factor is how we look in those games.
If we win by the seat of our pants in several SEC games and get blown the frick out against Bama, no he's prob gone.
If he has a couple of respectable wins in the SEC, and can realistically win the game against Bama in the last 5 minutes but just falls short, he gets at least another year.

Win out. That's the only way. It's like playing survivor in pick'ems. Gotta win each week or your out

11-2 with good QB play and a reasonably diverse and well-executed offense saves Miles' job, if he wants it. He may retire after this year. It didn't look like he was having fun last night.

No one knows wtf is going to happen except the people making those type of decisions...it's not even worth asking on here man lol. All you get is either what folks want to happen, or what they think is going to happen

He's making $4+ million a year. You can ram a rusted crowbar up my arse for $4 mill and I'd be grinning ear to ear.

Money is not an issue to a millionaire. He's been making that kind of change for awhile now.

If the Bama game is close he absolutely be back

I just don't give a frick anymore

If he wins 10 games and gets fired LSU would become a joke in college football.

LSU ain't winning 10 games with that offense against SEC defenses

I hope you're right but I just don't see that happening.
If he miraculously wins every game except for bama the guy will be back

He needs to beat Alabama. McClendon lost his job because of Paul Bryant

10-2 is a very nice season. Might be Sugar bowl.
no drama either.
Miles will coach again if LSU is 10-2.
it will help if Wisconsin wins two of the 4 in a row
@ Mich State, @ Mich, bye, Ohio State and @Iowa.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't see LSU winning 9 of the next 10 games. This upcoming four game stretch will be daunting for our offense.

you might be correct, but that's not the question you were asked.

If I don't see them fulfilling the requirement needed to answer the question as it was asked, then there is no answer to be provided.
The OP does not state "when" Miles wins out but rather "if" miles wins out. He allowed the reader the option of determining if the variable needed to answer the question was a valid one. I don't believe that variable will exist and be in play at the end of the year.

I'm beginning to think this is how it plays out. Everybody goes home with their dignity intact.

He, his children, and any future grandchildren are already financially secure for life. At this point he's just coaching for the fun of it, and as another poster said, it doesn't look like he's having fun.

Why the frick are you as a South Carolina fan even commenting on this? It is none of your business. Go lick your wounds from the Miss State game fool!
For the life if me, I will never understand why trolls that are other than LSU fans post in the Rant. To me, the Rant is a LSU fan only forum and anyone pledging allegiance to another other team needs to STFU!

They wouldn't. Not with his recent history with offense. LSU has already become the joke of college football under Miles.
It's sickening.
