I'm going with Dale Brown. He is a great motivator and good with the fans. he doesn't know much about football but he didn't know much about basketball either. A lot like the coach we have now

You're the one who came on here spouting what a "Great Recruiter" Butch Davis is. Maybe he could learn how to lock down his own state someday? He whiffed mightily on the first 7 players in North Carolina.

I am pro-Miles.

I think Miles is a great coach. He used to be an offensive lineman under Bo. He was a offensive line coach at Colorado. He was a offense coordinator at OSU. So, thats means Miles knows how to coach an offense.

Before the 2009 season started, Miles said the 2009 offensive line was the best he has ever coached up.

His 2009 offensive line was so good that it allowed only 37 sacks.

His 2009 offense was so good that it ranked 112th in CFB. That is pretty damn impressive.

The guy deserves a contract extension if he goes 8-4 or better IMO.

I wouldn't mind having Chris Petersen from Boise St., Gary Patterson from TCU, Will Muschamp, or Kirby Smart

Didn't I read somewhere that Joe Alleva and Bill Cowher were childhood friends?

Sammich you could take Saban, Bear Bryant, and your mom and they wouldn't be able to recruit very good at UNC.... It's UNC dude!! A basketball school. Mac Brown did good there but better at Texas. It's hard to get 5* football players in that venue. I'm not saying Butch Davis is Jesus, but he is a great recruiter.

Muschamp or Patterson are my votes. As long as they hire a really good OC.

Fitzgerald is a man's man, an overachiever. But, he may be Wildcat 4 Life.

joe alleva will be a problem in my eyes until he gets rid of this idiot we have as a head football coach. get ready for a very disappointing season in 2010 tiger fans. les miles is a lazy bag of shite. an intern of mine, who is the older brother of a current player said "contrary to popular belief, the players dont care for miles. he doesnt really coach, he just manages practices and lets his incompetent assistants do all the technical work. the only coach out there that has any respect from the players is Stud."

GIVE KIRBY SMART THE JOB WITH LES MILES' MONEY AND WE COULD GET BACK ON TRACK.

les we forget that this dipshit embarrassed our program on national television, not once but twice!!! i am sick of the tired arse excuses for LM. run that bastard outta town and his dyke arse wife. but noooooo, Joe Alleva gave him another shot and we r stuck with him for another season. GET READY!!! and while im at it Skip Bertman can kiss my arse. im done.

His name is JON Gruden. Can you at least spell the name of the guy we want Miles to be fired for right?

Do you think Miles should've been fired after this season? We'd be the laughing stock of college football had we terminated the employment of a coach who won 51 games in 5 years and especially after coming off a 9 win season.

And you really think Joe Alleva will/would terminate the employment of a head football coach without talking to folk like Martin and folk within TAF and folk on Board of Supervisors?

i didnt say that we should fire him after this past season. i understand we had our thumb in our arse and couldnt get rid of him. hence the damage control letter alleva sent out at the end of the season. i dont think he wouldnt talk to the ppl on the board. but i do believe that an 8-5 season would be justifiable grounds for termination when it has been proven that we have some of the finest facilities, recruiting tools and talent pool for a coach to choose from in the entire country. i refuse to ignore the facts. LSU football has proven itself to be cream of the crop and i wont settle for mediocrity. and that is all les miles has to offer.

bmy i kinda agree. this was coming from the older brother of an olineman. there is some bias there. i shouldve mentioned that. my bad.

all this leads me to believe that there's a "just f*ck it" attitude surrounding the program. coaches and players see that their coach is lazy and a buffoon. and the collective response is "F*CK IT".

i guess thats why this is called the rant...
