Do we part ways? Huge pressure to make the CWS. If he makes it, give him another shot. Another year of bad hitting, terrible situational awareness, and putting our best players in the dog house?

No last year getting canceled saved him from any judgment this season
If they play the whole season last year and LSU sucks like all signs were pointing to then this season would be make or break for Mainieri.
Now that will be 2022 depending on how 2021 goes.

Making the CWS is the benchmark. Not making it three years in a row (saying we don’t this year) and not seeing improvements and I think it’s time to move on.

You're overlooking the budget restraints the athletic department will be under for the next couple of years. Replacing CPM in the near future would be an unwise use of limited resources, IMO.

If I’m woodward, i’m speaking with Blake Dean at least once a week. Bringing him in to replace Pawl would be a great move. And we could get him cheap!
