Ha-ha, recruiting rankings say other wise. Clemson is better because they have a better coach, Not better players.
FSU won the title against a team LSU destroyed. They would have beat FSU that year. If they were in the sec west they never win a title.
Besides, most of you would have wanted him fired way before the title. Losing to wake Forrest would have been like LSU losing to Syracuse this year.

Fisher can have similar success. He recruits well and just came off an impressive winning streak the past 2 years.

FSU has out recruited LSU for two decades, maybe more. It's not like they never had talent.

When does Jimbo drop more 2 games a season
Also, LSU beat Auburn early on that season.. but Auburn did get it rolling later on that year..
and still.. FSU won.. they won the title.. that is what matters.. I don't care who they lost to prior..
I'll take a championship by a point, even if it's over some team that lost..

I like Jimbo, liked him more while he was here than most of the morons who are now acting like he is some kind of coaching god that would turn LSU into Alabama. But the ACC is a joke. Fisher is pretty much a Richt clone imo. Very good coach, not a significant upgrade over Miles.
And you fricking people acting like Fisher would drop everything he's built in Tallahassee for a chance to come back to BR are what is wrong with our fans. Absolutely no self awareness or perspective.
FSU to LSU is a lateral move. AT ABSOLUTE BEST. From a top flight program in a conference with one or two contenders to another top flight program in a conference with 4 or 5 contenders in any given year, in a division with the absolute most dominant program over the past seven years.
Do people think we could easily outbid FSU if it came to that??
I just don't understand why people think it's as easy as making the decision and a phone call.

I have been a Miles supporter for a long time and that ended Saturday night and I have been battling with myself whether I would prefer Jimbo or Tom Herman. I cannot decide.
