LSU wins 9 out of 10. Last week was the perfect storm. Bama and Florida are the only 2 teams on the schedule superior to LSU, and both of their defenses are susceptible to prolific offenses.

LSUs offense will continue to improve as the oline gels, emery progresses as the lead back, and the coaching staff settles on a wr rotation.

The defense will improve as well. A d line of Gaye, ojulari, Logan, and Roy will be pretty stout in a few weeks. Ricks and Stingley might be the best pair of cover corners in the country in a couple of weeks. The d just needs an lb to step up next to cox and a safety to step up next to Stevens.

Special teams, including both kickers look great.

Glass half full up in here.

The linebackers are very disappointing outside of Cox and he has his own issues. Mullen is gonna abuse this defense. They don’t attack, play their gap assignments and absolutely are susceptible to screens, wheel routes, TE releases and delayed hand-offs. LSU produced some seriously great LBs the last several years and I just don’t see it this one. You can bet bigger backs with better Olines are chomping at the bit to get to these guys. Hell, they gave up 4.5 yards per carry to non-QBs and let Vandy dominate the TOP in the first half. This offense will not dominate against UF or Bama for dam sure. They better get his shite together or they will get embarrassed.

I’m really worried about us defensively

Pelini has shown no defensive adjustments. Good teams will torch him

7 n 3. Losses to bama and florida coming. Better year coming though. Relax. Rebuild year is going how it should.

They beat our arse and that's that. I figured they weren't that good and we weren't that bad, that was what it was for that game.

UF and Bama are obviously good. But Ole Miss and Arkansas are much improved and could present challenges. Auburn will most likely improve as they have a tendency to start off shitty and get better. So there could be a number of interesting games. Mizzou looks like the last easy team based on their first two weeks, but you never know.

Well Vandy has about 200 yards offense in first half and 65 yards or so in the second half. Must have made some adjustment. It wasn’t all improved offense for LSU that limited Vandy in the second half.

We will know more in a few weeks.

What if Leach runs the wishbone with Shrader at QB. If the D can switch to zone in a do over can't Leach make adjustments

That doesn’t matter. We had our chance and blew it unfortunately. No mulligans in football. Pelini blew it.
