who cares if it's wet, they have field turf. Charles Scott will be on fire.

FWIW, place holds 72k, Id be willing to bet this game is their biggest draw of the year, and they'd prob like nothing other than to beat LSU.
I was Az state couple yrs ago, it got loud too.

CBSC was playing the replay of the 07 Kentucky game. So I was quickly given a reminder of the importance of showing up.
I don't care how good a team is, if the other team is exceeding their potential, winning is not easy.
Also, the fact that it is the first game, it's pretty much expected for one or both teams to play sloppily.
Although the odds are completely in our favor, I'd really like some respect to be shown, and for people to stop acting like the game's already been won.

If it did happen, could LSU still run the table and make it to the BCSCG?
Sure, if Washington goes undefeated. That way, we'll play both UF and UW twice. It's a lock, book it.

Given that I believe USC has QB issues from last seasons in their lost of their star QB Mark Sanchez in the first round of the NFL draft to the Jets.
This may be highly unlikely, but given a few x factors like:
*An unforeseen Pacific front brings unusual wet weather to normally Sunny Southern California
Unforeseen turnovers from their rookie QB and a
sloppy first game of the year play from the rest of the Trojans.
*A sparse crowd due to that unusual inclement weather in that haven in our nation. Also a wildfire threatening thousands of homes in the Los Angeles suburbs, which firefighters were making progress in controlling Tuesday, is likely to be remembered as not the biggest, not the worst, but one of the weirder blazes in Southern California in recent years; this could also play havoc in this game of old armies of swords, fancy helments and stout armored breastplates..
*Posible injuries to key starters (J. McNight, D. Williams)
*Game of a lifetime by the entire Spartan defense
Anything could happen as this band of Trojans also looking ahead to next weeks encounter with the Buckeyes of oSu.
The Script could very well read something like this:
The last meeting between the Spartans and Trojans was in 2001, with USC Coming out on top 21-10. But SJSU coach Dick Tomey won his past two games against USC. This could be a battle of the Greeks of old versus those Roman Trojans. Who knows, this modern day battle may change history; after Dick Tomey’s Spartans battle Pete Carroll’s boys of Troy, in a defensive struggle in unusually rainy conditions and smoke from the areas forest fires, for his third victory over USC.

It's LSU playing UW. Not USC playing Stanford, or Alabama playing La Monroe. So no response required to your hypothetical situation.

Would someone explain to me why UW fans really think HS is louder than TS? SERIOUSLY??? It doesn't make any sense to me...
I don't understand where they get that from either. I have been to husky stadium a few times and the loudest game I went to was in 2000.....It was against Or. St....the year Oregon, Or St. and Udub all tied for the pac 10 championship....well I went to the Oregon/Udub game one weekend in Autzen and Husky stadium the following weekend for the Beaver game and it was the same to me. At that time Autzen Stadium held 42k (before they added 15k) compared to 72k for HS so I know they can't compare that to TS.....been there once. Against fresno st.....not even a great game that is hyped. We will blow their fricking ears off in 2012! Loud my arse.....lol

Peej I'm so glad your predicting this........after you said this week the game would be close........The vegas line moved.......
Your a prophet my friend..........of wrong!
I think the only prediction you have ever gotten correctly is Ole Miss vs LSU last year and it really wasn't even a prediction because Ole Miss was easily viewed as the better team.
Thanks my friend.

Nope Udub is gonna get crushed. I think Jefferson , Lee and Shep all take snaps at QB. Lafell Scott, Russel Toliver and someone else all score.
Locker get injured.
LSU rushes for 300 throws for 200.
42-3

Given that I believe LSU has fixed its issues from last seasons hot mess, this is highly unlikely, but given a few x factors like:
Cold, wet weather
Unforeseen turnovers
Sloppy first game of the year play
Hostile Crowd
Pumped Up Home Team
Injury to a key starter (Scott or Jefferson)
Game of a lifetime by Locker & co.
I could almost see it happening.
If it did happen, could LSU still run the table and make it to the BCSCG?
Depends on what you mean. If LSU loses to Washington, there's no way they win out, so no. But if they miraculously do win out, after the UW game, then, unless there are two undefeated teams from other BCS conferences, yes, they'd be in the BCSCG.
