If LSU loses to one top 10 team and beats 3 top 10 teams

They should get in over an undefeated Clemson who will have no wins vs a top 25 team (if aTm falls outta the top 25).
I know that it won't happen, but Clemson should get the UCF treatment. I thought SOS was supposed to play a factor? LSU would have proved itself worthy after beating a handful of top 10 teams

I doubt UCF would have DOMINATED Bama last year like Clemson did.... Its NOT Clemsons fault the ACC sucks so bad is it???????

So are you assuming that Alabama, Auburn, Fla and Texas will all be top ten at the end of the season? If not, why doesn’t Clemson get credit for beating a ranked Texas A & M team?

An undefeated Power 5 conference champion is getting in the playoff every time, even if the ACC is bad. Clemson has no room for error though, a loss will probably keep them out.

Last year should not have anything to do with this season. Is LSU on the same level as LSU last year? No, they are MUCH better

It’s definitely not their fault their conference is not great but they definitely shouldn’t be the top ranked team when it’s all said and done after beating nobody....if they want that spot they should have to toughen up their out of conference slate...hard to believe an undefeated Clemson team will be left out all together though

They beat the frick out of a team that ran roughshod through the SEC last year, including shutting us out. I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt.
That being said, they have no room for error. One loss and they're done. A one loss SEC team gets in the playoffs.

So you mean to tell me they will leave out an undefeated defending champ who embarrassed Alabama. This is just not happening.
