...at the NC. Agree or disagree?

Truthfully, who knows?

The game on November 3rd is not a lock.

We could easily lose, anything can happen in that game.

This Bama obsession is so freaking tiresome.

I don't understand the point of constantly talking about them, it's a long season with lots of football to enjoy.

At the Idaho game, I heard over and over again "That won't work against Bama" or "Bama takes that to the house." Really, what's the point?

Bama actually will have a far harder road into the title game if it losses than LSU. They don't play anyone in SEC play outside of LSU (and maybe Mississippi State ) that are really good. Not playing South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida could hurt them. That said, given that FSU, OU, UT, and Oregon are still looming it is going to be really hard to get a rematch.

Bigger question needs to be this: Assuming LSU beats Bama, what if UGA goes undefeated and loses to LSU in the SECCG? Is a one loss UGA that won their division and lost the CCG not a more attractive option than a one loss Bama team just because they had the benefit of losing a month earlier and sitting at home during their CCG?

LSU needs to worry about the week ahead.
Ok maybe against Towson we should look at south Carolina and florida tendancies. Yea Florida is gonna be alot tougher game than people think. There offense is starting to click.

Media wants somebody else to beat an SEC team regardless of Bama or LSU losing we won't have a rematch. Hope bama gets upset by miss. state or tennesse.

agree. If that scenario happened last year. I guarantee LSU would not have been granted a do over.

I obviously don't know if Mulligan II will happen, but ESPN is already talking about it:

LINK (go down to what we learned in the SEC)

quote:

There’s a lot of football left to be played this season, but it’s going to take somebody’s best effort (and then some) to take down the Tide. The team best equipped to play that kind of game is sitting right there in the Western Division. Could it be that we see two rounds of Alabama versus LSU again this season? The rest of the country might want to brace itself.

I thought it was bad when they started talking Mulligan right after the first game last year. Now they can't even wait that long.

it all depends on the scenario. If Lsu were to lose to bama in a close game, and every other team had a loss, you can bet your sweet arse there would be a rematch.

Every other team having a loss would mean they lost to a bad team. The only way this wouldn't happen IMO would be for y'all to squeak out a few wins along the way rather than dominating everyone.

The talk is unavoidable. The point is that game is the NC game. Period.

And we get to play it at home.

It will not happen for a few reasons. Our strength of schedule will not be incredible because of our weak out of conference schedule. The Big 12 has done too well in out of conference play. There computer scores will be threw the roof, and without a championship game, they just have too many options of teams that will finish with only 1 loss. They will probably get in before us. a 1 loss USC or Oregon probably will too.

Obiovusly, for this to even be a discussion, there would have to be no other major conference undefeated teams outside of maybe Louisville.

Yeah, last year really showed that the media was against the SEC

its not like it just happened. A LOT of shite had to go down with other teams for us to get into the BCSnc. You are delusional if you think LSU wouldnt have gotten the same chance last year.

According to luginbell on espn, only way bama loses is if they beat themselves. No other team on their schedule can match up with their offense and d-lines. espn experts.

If Bama loses they get a rematch again. If we lose you can forget it.
