Ricky will never stop posting about Miles... it's in his DNA.... and I don't have a problem with Miles... just those who go overboard in defending him....

True and this is what makes its so much fun. I think you think people really take this stuff seriously. If they do, then I'd say there's a problem. I never leave my keyboard mad or distressed. I never give it a second thought when I step away. You're making it sound as if ppl take this to bed with them.

So I just want to know why? I don't even ask that you stop because it is funny, if irrational entertainment. Just explain why.
Passes the time til next season. Gives people a place to vent/work out their frustrations in a harmless and legal way, allows folks to share opinions....sometimes it just fun to rustle jimmies.
Don't read so much into brah...it's all silly fodder.

For you perhaps. I suppose you love to play the role of agent provocateur. Harmless hobby I'm sure.
I disagree with you on the level of animosity. You may walk away and give it no further thought. I don't think it is true of a lot of people that chime in. Read the underlying violence in their comments. Witness the fierceness with which defenders are attacked. Some apparently live with this hatred day after day. That is sick and sad.
Still it is enormously funny. All of this pent up hatred and venom coupled with a horrendously bad use of the English language is worth the price of admission.
Once again it is strange and funny. Sort of like the Three Stooges meet Alien.

If you haven't noticed Peej, I never bring him up or start threads about him. My problem is with people that act like his tenure here wasnt amazing by lsu standards.
How many programs had more success than lsu had from 2005-2015? How many sec programs had more sustained success during that same time period.
I've never once said better game day coaches couldn't have had better results with the talent we had under miles. My point is there is no guarantee that that talent comes to lsu. Lsu doesnt recruit itself.
I could also say you'll never stop posting about me posting about miles. Its in your dna.

There are no requirements for membership in Tiger Fandom. So, you get a little bit of everything.
Still, it seems to me that it could be worse:
Observe all those Alabama fans and their excesses...

They are on an entirely different planet.
Over full of themselves for sure but I never see this level of animosity to each other. They are like one huge crimson colored daisy chain.

quote:Yet Miles has done as well as anyone against Bama in his time at LSU and there would be 4 more Ws needed to match him.
The year we beat Bama, this site will be unreadable due to the avalanche of anti Miles threads rubbing all the Les Miles fans' noses in it.
If LSU vs loses do you really expect threads littering tRant rubbing losing coach's nose in Miles record?
Do you not see the problem here, wtf?

I mean, I guess its possible. But could you simply be confusing hatred for passion? You dont honestly think these people hate each other do you?

Oh grow up.
I do believe that few would have the courage to physically attack another poster. Internet cowardice is a proven fact.
But I believe a deep hatred for Les Miles does exist. How else do you explain the fact that any thread with him in the title generates such a large volume of irrational meanness? Explain why a thread about the baseball team will attract the same players spouting the same stuff (BTW for us lurkers PLEASE try to come up with some new material)in tread after thread.
People celebrating that the hasn't been hired yet? People wanting to rub the noses of his defenders in it? People ganging up on any of his defenders? Are these actions just the pastime of a few people killing time at work?
Anyway I have to earn a living.

You're psycho-analyzing too much....and I'm not really sure why. Besides, if it was really out of control, the admins would nix it or drop the ban hammer. At any rate, analyze away!
Me 2...but I can horse around on the net at my leisure.

Are you under the ignorant impression that I STARTED A MILES THREAD? It's amazing how you dumbasses don't have this same response to the people actually starting threads about Miles or bringing him up in threads that had nothing to do with him

Stating facts isnt defending.

I said the offense looked better in 2016 after firing miles. Try to keep up little guy.
I actually pity you at this point.
And that's a leap because generally speaking, I don't pity many people for self inflicted gunshot wounds

Rick has actually claimed he would do this MULTIPLE times on this board.
The dude is more addicted to being a Miles fan than the typical heroin addict is to heroin.

It's just amazing how I'm the obsessed one yet I never start threads about Miles or bring him up in any thread.
It can demonstrate obsession when you STILL can't let ANY perceived slight of Miles go by without engaging in a 400 post thread.
quote:No. You won't. You can't do it. You are 100% incapable of doing it because for frick's sake........It's APRIL 2017!!!!!
I'll stop buddy.

"Jefferson was not better than Lee"
You must not have watched any of the Bama games if you think JJ never out played JL.

No one said EVER. But you're right that 11 NCG was a Jefferson masterpiece.
