Good fricking God man. It's been more than half a year.
Move the frick on.
This is pathetic. His son almost certainly spends less effort trying to defend his dad's legacy.

Holy frick. Don't feed this pathetic person.
I guess at least the fact that STILL, Miles defense represents the vast majority of his effort on this board pretty much closes the loop on the "LSU fan" vs "Miles Fan" discussion of 8 months ago.
Goddamn. We've got football this fall. No one wanted Miles gone more than me but this is fricking sad.
Just sad.
Let's move the frick on.

It's pathetic.
You just KNOW that if the offense looks good this fall and ANYONE brings up how much more they like it than the previous offenses, Rick will be there waiting to post for 40 fricking pages.
The dude has a screw loose.

For Miles to be successful he's going to need a job that offers #1, A talent rich, Home Grown area with little competition. #2 A huge budget, for his staff, like at LSU he will need the best Assts that money can buy, to cover up his lack of football knowledge.#3 Miles must have more talent than his opposition, cause he is not going to out coach anyone.(Bless his heart ,that's just the way it is) An AD that will work with him and convince the fans that he didn't say what he just said (Supportive)

Maybe one day you'll understand the difference between facts and defending.

Are you under the ignorant impression that I STARTED A MILES THREAD? It's amazing how you dumbasses don't have this same response to the people actually starting threads about Miles or bringing him up in threads that had nothing to do with him.

Stating facts isnt defending.
If i say Wednesdays come after Tuesday am i defending Tuesdays?
It's laughable that you cant see THAT I never start threads about Miles or bring him up out of no where.

Yes he was.
JJ has the better career qb rating, better career completion%, better qb rushing numbers.
I'm sorry facts prove JJ was the better qb.

So youre actually saying you'd rather 1 sec title in 5 years and go winless in the other 4 years than 1 sec title in 8 years and have 10 wins the other 7 years?
Wow. That it's just crazy talk.

I said the offense looked better in 2016 after firing miles. Try to keep up little guy.

Threads like this are your fault. All those posts during Miles' tenure skewing "facts" to make excuses for him. As time goes by and things happen which even suggest one of those claims are BS, we're going to have another 50+ page thread about it. The year we beat Bama, this site will be unreadable due to the avalanche of anti Miles threads rubbing all the Les Miles fans' noses in it.

no Rick...I'm just saying numbers can be deceiving and often don't paint the whole picture...that's all.

Skewing? Please explain how win% and final rankings are skewing.

I wanted miles gone. That in no way makes me blind to the amount of success he had at lsu.
Also if you haven't noticed, I never start threads about Miles or bring him up in threads that have nothing to do with him.
But sure I'll stop posting about miles from this day forth.

Agreed.
I'll stop posting about miles for good. It's just amazing how I'm the obsessed one yet I never start threads about Miles or bring him up in any thread.
I'll stop buddy.

Some LSU fans are obsessed with Les Miles, others Nick Saban. Move on, we have a new coach now.

Why do it?
I mean why is it so important for the hate Miles crowd to continue to blast the man?
To clear the air didn't go to any SEC college, am not from the South originally, and have no real ties to LSU.
I love this site. It is the most hilariously dis-functional non political site I read. It is a living theater of the absurd.
But there is an almost scary undercurrent of pure raw hatred. Any time Les Miles' name is mentioned (often in threads that have nothing to do with football) the anti-Miles crowd swarms out like the flying monkeys in the Wizard of OZ. You have to be just a little concerned of the mindset that produces such mindless hatred.
And God forbid that anyone should show up to defend him! The long knives come out sharpened and in full thrust. Insults, threats and heaven knows what else ensue. To an outsider this is not rational behavior.
I understand that many of you have great expectations for your teams. That's not unusual. What I find bizarre is the intensity of the venom. Again from an outsider's perspective, he served LSU well and nobly during his tenure. He didn't leave a cloud stench behind like Paterno or Briles.
So I just want to know why? I don't even ask that you stop because it is funny, if irrational entertainment. Just explain why.
