I would love for LSU to go undefeated the rest of the year. I"ll be happy with a win over Bama,A&M then an arse raping of Florida.

Not all records are created equally. Ole Miss has shown in all of their games that they have a very good offense and a suspect defense.

The last four will all be difficult. A&M in particular is stronger than last year.

We will run all over a&m.
They are giving up 184 yards/game.(80th in the country). If you cant stop the run, you arent beating lsu. The teams we lose to are teams that can stop the run.

A&m is giving 9 rushing 1st downs per game and they havent even played a sec team in the top 50 in rushing yards per game. While their defense is improved a good deal they still arent physical enough to mam up against lsu

You're giving them that much credit?

Destroys? The Black Bears put a lot of points on the board against bama's top ranked defense. 30+ against the hawg's and Noles', too. Kelly has yet to play a full 4 quarters but when he's in a groove & they are running fast tempo, it'll take out scoring them.

I think we can win this one with an awesome running game. May need 15 to 20 pass attempts . The running game will keep the ball away from Kelly and OM wont't be able to score over 30 points. We can score 31 to 35 points running the ball. 325 yrds rushing should do it. LF 160 Guice 120

Ole miss is better than A&M. A&Ms defense is atrocious. Tennessee put up 700 YDS on them WITH 7 TURNOVERS. That is not a good defense.

A&M has beaten Arkansas and Tennessee.

Ole Miss's best win is either UGA or Memphis.

I am going to say A&M is better.

I still feel the Bama mystique will rear its ugly, red, inbred head in TS and we lose that game...AGAIN!

I won't believe we can beat those frickers untilwe actually do it. the rest of the season would hinge on that Bama win/loss.

"Ship!"

OM has great receivers, it will be a test of our DBs.

2-3 more losses still. Beating a 3-3 team is not that impressive to me

What other options do we have today? And, for what it's worth, USM is 4-3, not 2-3 or 3-3, has a road win at Kentucky and hadn't been held under 32 points in a game until last Saturday night.

Yes, but they blew those teams out and played very well in close losses to FSU and Alabama, and pretty well in a close loss at Arkansas.

Based on results to this point, yes, but I wouldn't say it's a slam-dunk.

Maybe, but comparing how they did against those other teams isn't conclusive. They scored 43 on Alabama partly because Alabama kept scoring on defense and special teams so Ole Miss got more possessions. Scoring 34 on FSU doesn't seem so special after Louisville hung 63 and North Carolina 37 on them. Scoring 30 on Arkansas is eight less than TCU, 15 less than A&M, 19 less than Alabama and more than only La. Tech, Texas St. and Alcorn.

They might score 30 against LSU, but I don't think it's a given. Our defense has a chance to limit them if the offense helps out by keeping them off the field a reasonable amount of the time and scoring some points ourselves.

Almost any decent team can stop the run enough to keep you from dominating the game if that's all they have to worry about. If the passing threat is not credible, we are not going to beat any good teams. And, of course, the defense has to step up. Auburn and Arkansas are both good running teams and neither one of them was able stay within single digits of A&M.
