I would think he would get a ring, but not be invited to the ceremony. That said, them making the NCG with him at the helm is a long shot. Without him at the helm calling plays and making adjustments, the probability is very slim. A blind squirrel finds the nut every now and then though.

why not with Lane as the coach? College Football is the Wild West of sports. $10MM contracts for coaches, $MM contracts for players, etc. Have him start recruiting right away for LSU. Maybe drag a few players w him along the way - especially QB! Could be a 1st in college football. LSU does like to set the standard.....

Ole Miss isn't winning the the CFP. They struggled to beat us and Arkansas and had to come from behind to beat Washington State by 3 points in a game in which they were favored by 34 points.
