Missouri had half its defense in Covid quarantine. Give me a freaking break.

it's like you're screaming how dumb you are. you should want the starter to be whoever the offensive coordinator decides is better when the fall preparation is over. You're telling the world you're already committed to one qb and haven't seen any of them do anything in months. Max could have been abducted by aliens for all you know. God I wish people weren't so effing stupid.

Neither did the inability to make a play on 3rd down and convert the entire damn afternoon.

Go check how long those 3rd downs were almost all were over 5 yards.

The defense Brenna put up 430 yards and 4 TDs against?

And still lost when the game was on the line against a defense that was missing most of its starters because of Covid. Yeah, that defense.

Not to mention that Max passed for 435 yards against Ole Miss.

And you clearly don't want Myles to be the starter.

Maybe so, but I didn't start a thread to lobby for Max while pretending to be unbiased like that ignoramus did.

You're comparing apples to oranges, you dumb loon.

It will be Max and expect Myles to transfer to Baylor

After the 2021 season, Brennan will transfer to either Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin or Baylor and Dave Aranda. He will remain the backup and collect his NIL until then.

It had everything to due with the offense, but little to do with Myles

Had Max Johnson been in that game under the same situation, he would have sneaked it in on first down and won the game. Give me a freaking break.

Max and Myles will both play this season and the coaches are going to have to find the best fit for these guys depending on the opponent

Ie
Max would be better against an opponent that struggles against a mobile qb and Myles would be better against slow db’s

How are you so sure? Max got stuffed against Ole Miss the first time he tried to sneak it from the 1yd line.

He scored on his second attempt, after the OL pushed Ole Miss so far back they all fell 2yds into the end zone.

Look, if people want to pin the poor 3rd down percentage on Myles in the Missouri game, I get that. But IMO, when you need a single yard and can't get it, that the OL's fault. Especially when that OL is working against Missouri's depleted DL. Not the RB, not the QB, not anyone else's.

I hate to be that LSU poster, but if that was Alabama Mac Jones could have walked into the end zone because of how much push the offensive line would have gotten.

We lost because Myles couldn't get it done when the game was on the line. Stop making silly excuses for Myles's failures.

Myles himself couldnt get it done? So now he was the only one on the field?

We don’t play 100% sec schedule and not every team in the sec has db’s that run 4 flat 40’s backwards

...or you can have a guy in there who can overcome that deficiency.

It's almost "always" considered a risky proposition to pull the ball off the line of scrimmage in a short-yardage situation vs a QB sneak. How many times did Burrow do this during the 2019 run? Plenty.

But that's the majority of your schedule. DB's that run 4.5 aren't as slow as you think. So the idea is to play Myles against McNeese? Why even bother then?

If its Max, he earned the start in fall drills.
If its Miles, he earned the start in fall drills.
Unless the other is injured and not available.

Last season is history.
