Could y'all stop with this notion that Greedy got abused against a&m. He shut down Ausbon , their best receiver the whole game. On the td he gave up, if Todd Harris keeps his hand up the ball is knocked down. Alexander and Vincent was getting abused by Rogers and the other receivers. Once they matched Greedy up on Rogers, he shut him down until the ref threw the flag on a phantom PI. He shut down DK Metcalf who got 40 pounds him. McShay was the first person I ever heard say Greedy scared to tackle and now it's turned into that Greedy isn't physical. On Devin White's forced fumble against a&m that Divinity returned for a TD, it was Greedy who hit him first in the backfield that stopped him. Greedy is going to be the next Richard Sherman just with more athleticism.

Yes, we were told that LSU CB Greedy Williams was a top 10 first round pick in the NFL Draft because of his abilities locking down wide receivers. But since learned from an x-Pro Football player talking on the NFL channel broadcasting the Pro Draft that Greedy Williams was not a hitter, or even shy away from making a hard tackle. So that was the reason Greedy slide into where he was the Cleveland Brown pick in the second round.

He was widely regarded as the number one CB coming out this year from off season all the way to the combine. He and deandre Baker. He has been an outstanding cover corner the last two years. His stock was as high as it could get and he had a child to think about. Sure he had a great experience at LSU the past three years, but that don’t pay the bills. Something negative was passed around about him and wasn’t his about his cover skill, tackling, or not playing in a bowl game. Just like someone spoke negatively on Guice and he fell in the draft. All this bad stuff was supposed to come out about him around draft day and never did.
