You gotta play both ends in the show... and Noel is a freshman. Johnny has work to do, like develop a reliable 12 foot jumper.

I had forgotten Dameon Mason was on that team.

He was ineligible. Didn't play a minute.

Against the #1 pick. I don't want Johnny to go, but if he goes, he definitely gets drafted.

Who has more talent around him, Noel or JOB?

Look, JOB isn't ready for the NBA, but he is making good progress. Put some talent around him next year and let's see what he can do.

That "sub par" Kentucky team is still more talented top to bottom than almost every team in the conference. Just look at their beatdown of OM the other day on the road.

That means we will be a much better team. It does not mean automatic final four. Quite a bit of difference there. Basketball is not just stats and physical ability. There is a thing called chemistry, effort and teamwork.

Hell we didn't make the final four when we had Chris Jackson, Shaq, Stanley Roberts, Vernel Singleton, Wayne Sims and Maurice Williamson. It would take some great coaching and a lot of luck to get us there next year. Or any year for that matter.

JOB has work to do before he even thinks about the draft:

Lesson #1: stop trying to power dribble everytime you get the ball in the paint.

Lesson #2: work on your free throws.

I never said he was. To the contrary, I said he wasn't in this very thread. But I think your other comments regarding UK are ridiculous and dumb.

JOB is not NBA ready. If he declares he'll be lucky to be a second round pick, and if he stayed he'd almost assuredly go higher next year and earn himself a lot of money. Remember how good marcus was?? And he went middle of the second. That being said, there's definitely a chance he leaves just bc he's impatient or doesn't like school or whatever, there's a bunch of reasons he could declare.

Now if he does stay, anyone who thinks that team won't be able to make a final four is a fricking moron. Will they?? Who knows LSU's most talented team of all time in the early 90's lost in the second round. That being said look at some of the teams to make final fours in recent years, Butler twice, VCU once, George Mason. Hell the year UCONN won it might not have had a team in it as talented as our team will be next year, assuming thee recruits are as good as advertised. And we're still in for Keith Frazier

ETA: I apologize to the OP that most rantards don't understand the difference between saying a team is final four capable and a team is a final four favorite or lock

1 and what in the SEC this year and you think next year we have a final four team? Yes we will be better; maybe even make the 64 but final four? I like the way you think but i'm having a hard time following you train of thought.

I don't think some of you understand how good this recruiting class is. Or that we could've easily won every game but Florida, who's blowing out everybody they play in the SEC. Our team as currently constructed would only get better anyway bc of an extra year of experience, but we're also bringing in the best recruiting class since the Big Baby/Taz/Temple class and this one might even be better
