For everyone who laughs, explain how next year's team, from top to bottom, won't be at least as talented as the 2006 team if everyone returns?

Yeah, and win the NC in football, too, right?

It's a bit outlandish, but if Martin is as good as advertised, a game like tonight isn't even close and we win going away. Imagine that one inclusion over the course of this entire season and where do we sit this year?

We had a ton of 5* recruits on that team.

Like 2? So next year we'll have about 2 and a guy in Hickey that would have started on either team.

And we had zero depth on that team. None.

I was around during the Chris Jackson/ Shaq years. I believe the upcoming recruiting class that comes in next year will catapult us back to those days. They will make a run next year.. How far? nobody knows...I'll admit, I haven't been to many basketball games since the golden years but I yearn for the program to get back to those days. CJJ will continue to fight and turn over every stone for talent. That is what excites me and that is what will help get us back to the good ole days.. I don't know how the young guys will progress either, but if we return everyone and only lose Carmouche and Del, and you include one of the best players in the country, a JUCO guy already practicing with the team, and two other highly sought after players, and you would think that we could be really good. How good? I don't know. But I don't think the OP's comments are completely ridiculous. Unlikely, but I really do think we'll be very talented.

Taz and Big Baby

Our guard play was horrendous that season. We had a makeshift PG with no depth

To hell with the final four.

Lets just say they are going to the NC game next year.

Got to love the rant. Last week a lot of the same guys were saying JJ was no different from Trent.

I never said we would make the final four. That depends on draws, etc. I think we'll be capable of it though.

And Taz was a true freshman, and we didn't have a point guard. We had an outstanding defensive player in Temple that lacked shooting and ball handling. Great player, but not a point guard.

Dude, I'm pretty much the only one even trying to support your view.
