He came out PUBLICLY on Tuesday and called his shot.

He all but said the name of the 3 guys he circled and said he wants everything done by Monday when the team gets back. The guy has some nuts to put himself up for criticism like that.

He is 1 candidate away and it looks to be about done.

ETA: he choked... no credit given

He also said we would kick Bama’s arse every time we saw them. Maybe a better approach is to just keep your mouth shut and get it done.

Brennen doesn't get hurt and covid doesn't happen we win that game in tiger stadium.

This year was an aberration. And, if you look at what LSU talent keeps doing in the NFL, they are, in fact, beating bama's arse in the recruiting trail.

Just curious because I don’t know that much about him but what is special about Peetz? He has no OC experience that I am aware of. Do you think Saban will replace Sark with someone with no experience? Honest question and thanks for the insight.

o lines they do not. And two more gumps won national awards and will be high draft picks. Would just like to have one and they have two.

He deserves a ton of credit if the new coordinators pan out,
I see no reason why they would not, but there are no sure things.

And I still have zero issue with him saying it and hope he says it every time he beats them moving forward.

this is a very good point.

I, for one, am not thrilled with the Peetz hire. He worked under Brady (not as an OC, of course) and seems to have gotten a thumbs-up from him.

So that's enough to be OC at LSU?

I seriously question the Peetz hire. I hope he's great, but this is underwhelming, regardless of how this board is slobbering all over him.

And no, I can't see Saban taking such a leap with an OC. He has to replace OCs every few years, and always gets a guy with prior success and they never miss a beat, even with Blake Sims, Greg McElroy, or Mac Jones at QB.
