There is no if. Joe didn’t leave OSU to sit on the bench at LSU. imo
I want him to think pass 1st, but be mobile enough to extend a play if needed.

Some packages fit some QB's better. I don't think Joe will be upset sitting out a couple plays if we run something that works.

If the package allows him to throw and run I don't mind seeing him have some plays but I'm not a fan of a dual quarterback system.

1. Spend a series or 2, after game in hand, on developing backup.
2. yes, Bring in ln in Tebow role in red zone.
Avoid having to play backup with no real experience in game v Aubie or bama after burrows nicked up.

I agree. I am pretty certain that JB will be starting. The coaches will definitely want to get Brennan and Narcisse some playing time though. Hopefully, the offense will be good enough to to allow for that in some games this season.

I don’t know about that. In both 2016 and 2017 the starting QB played deep into ball games no matter the score. Seems I recall a lot of starters still playing long after the game had been decided.
I guess there’s a fine line to be walked between getting your new quarterback experience and getting your reserve experience.

The point isn't if it's necessary to run, it's having a packages designed for certain players to run that would make the offense more effective and confuse defenses
