It’s weird how many people are pre melting about this game that doesn’t kickoff for a couple more days.

Let’s watch the game and then see how we feel how about that

I agree with you. The crowning of Lane Kiffin as some god-like Saban clone is at full tilt on this board.

The guy has proven many times over he coaches like a buffoon in games like this.

LSU doesn't get pushed around at night. I like the Tigers 31-24

If he falls to 3-7 vs ranked opponents he’ll have dipped to over 10% below Dinardo’s start

Dinardo was 4-6, 1 game is 10%.

approaching Hallman numbers in that area.

Hallman was 1-9 in his first 10 vs Ranked opponents, even if he loses he will still be 3 times better. Hallman is 2 -15 for his tenure so he would be 2.25 times better even if he loses this game.

Honeymoon has been over. When is last time we played like a top tier program? When’s the last full game you can say we were a good football team? He isn’t filling his end of the deal. He’s being paid like a top coach and hasn’t produced. This weekend should go a long way. Good or bad it should show where we really are. If he can’t get a complete game out of this team what’s his excuse on Sunday this week?

This is a program defining game, but he has at least 5 years time get us to the playoffs... esp with this class coming in and how much we owe him.

It feels like 5 years is both the minimum and the maximum.

As someone else said, if we are 5 years in still trotting out the same undisciplined slow to start team with no identity, well, the alignment may be mis-aligned.

With two losses already by mid-October, they would be pretty much be out of meaningful contention for the natty.

That might be your reaction, but that just goes to show that lots of fans don't understand the playoff dynamics.

LSU (and Texas A&M for that matter) can afford a second loss, because the first one was OOC vs a respectable P4 opponent. You might be angry about it, but we'd still be tied in conference standings with Alabama, UGA, Tennessee, etc. No margin for error left, but you ain't out of it with 1 conference loss.

If we lose to a mediocre USC team then to Ole Miss at home at night you can kiss the playoffs goodbye. There’s no way possible we win out not with this team and we sure aren’t getting any healthier.

I'll just be honest. While we've experienced much, much darker days...I kinda hate the Kelly era.

Feels like purgatory and he's a really tough guy to root for when he's not winning.

I know one thing, you would love for Nuss to do poorly so that you could bash him with Lester.

I feel the same way although I like Kelly and think he’s a great coach and does a lot of things right. I just think he came to LSU about 5-10 years too late.

I’m gonna be really disappointed if we don’t win this game, especially if we come out sloppy with a lot of penalties and blown coverages after 2 weeks to prepare.

For me it was over after the USC game.

I did not mind the FSU games so much.

However, Brian and I are in counseling and we should be working things out throughout the year.
