the SEC will demand we reschedule.

Alleva tells them to pound sand, we wont play 3 road games in like 11 days.

The SEC gives us a forfeit loss to UF.

watch.

Why? The Florida game wouldn't matter.

We could lose to Florida and still own the tie-breaker over both Alabama and A&M

Wouldnt it matter that LSU could potentially have a 2nd loss and in a 3 way tie with A&M and BAMA and the SEC finds a way to send bama to Atlanta?

It would matter then.

The SEC can't "find a way to send Bama to atlanta" in that scenario. The first tiebreaker in a 3 way tie is head to head records between the teams. We'd be 2-0, and they'd be either 1-1 or 0-2.

Yall need to get over this conspiracy theory bullshite. It makes our fan base look pathetic

Doubtful. In a three way tie with us winning over both we would still have the advantage.

The first tie-breaker in a 3 way tie is the round robin record of the 3 teams. LSU would be 2-0, Alabama would be 0-2 (assuming they lost to A&M), and A&M would be 1-1. LSU advances.

As has been stated many times on here, the LSU-Florida game being played can only hurt Bama/A&M/Florida. It cannot help them.

The game being played can also *only* help LSU/Tennessee. It cannot hurt them.

So, agenda of Bama/florida >>>>>>>>>> LSU/Tenn at the SEC office.

SEC doesn't have the authority to do this.

Not to mention that LSU is under contract to play South Alabama on the 19th which is only date that would be possible the way the schedule is set up.

Which is why Alleva needs to get out in front of this NOW! NOW, mutherfricker! Tell the SEC, NOW, that LSU wont drop games to schedule FLA in the future just because FLA didnt want to play the game that every other team in FLA is playing this weekend(except the one for Nov. 5).

They ARE gonna try to pin this on LSU in the future.

Won't happen because if Joe is told you either play or forfeit, he has nothing to gain by not playing.

At this point I suspect their chances of beating Alabama are better than them beating A&M.

ETA: Damn your edit

I said "could" hurt. Would they make LSU play UF in this case?

Yes if Bama and TAM are 6-2 and LSU is 6-1 and all other west teams have 3 or more losses it will not matter. LSU goes to Atlanta with a loss in the make up game but would probably benefit with a win to remain in contention for a playoff bid. Really the next 3 or 4 weeks will begin to sort all this out and many scenarios that are currently being discussed will have become non issues. In fact most of them will be.
