Bring in a sixth lineman. Go heavy to strengthen the run game and pass protection. Flex Green and run with 2 WRs and a RB. Its not ideal, but you have to adapt to address your greatest weakness, the OL.

This would not be the entire game, obviously, but it is a wrinkle at least.

How about the OL nut up and actually do their jobs?

We could bring in 10 lineman and still get pushed back 5 yards

Our OL is a group of pussies outside of Moore. Not physical, leans back on their heals, can’t move anyone.

I think coaching turned them into this because they’re highly recruited, big, strong, athletic guys.

This is one thing we KNOW at this point in the system. The OL cannot do the job that has been given them so far. TRY A DIFFERENT SCHEME.

Why? We’re behind the other teams in terms of S&C. Another fat, weak lineman isn’t going to magically help

We have the worst offensive line in P4 and you want to remove a skill player to put another olineman on the field?

Every time we go heavy in the redzone we get stuffed. I'm fine with going heavy between the 20s, but it has not worked at all in the redzone. I'd like to just see us get to the line fast - tempo is what this running game needs.

This offense needs tempo. Exactly right. They’ve killed more drives this season by dicking off burning clock after a decent gain

They’ve literally done this already this season and they still get no push lmao.

How bout use a run capable QB to offset a sluggish OL.

They would have already done that if they could.

I understand what you're saying but a lot of this is mental, elementary mistakes. That can be fixed. If you are asking them to do tasks that they physically can't do, that's on the coaching staff for not analyzing their true abilities and recognizing that they don't fit the system/scheme you want to run.

We should be doing the exact opposite of bringing in another lineman.

Put 5 O-line, 1 RB, T. Green as a wideout, and 3 other WR. Open the game with much more passing than just running up the middle or some WR screen at the line of scrimmage. A whole lot of 5-10 yard throws will open up the running game.

If you O-line sucks, you add WR and do quick passes.

Totally agree, the quick hit passing game can be the equivalent of your 3-4 yard per rush running game.

Do you think that thought has even entered BK's mind when LSU has 1st and goal from the 2 foot line?
Does it make sense for any OC anywhwere, anytime to line up in the shotgun, 6 yds off the los at the snap?
It is impossible to defend BK on anything offensively. He is totally lost.

Have we had an O Lineman, since Kelly was hired, that could line up and push the defender off the LOS?
Wonder what our success rate on lining up and getting a first down, when it was third down and 1 yd or less, since Kelly was hired?

They are obviously poorly coached.

Maybe so but, to watch them play you would never know it.
Only reason has to be poor coaching.
